It didnt occur to me someone would get a roleblocked message for being jailkept. I assumed it would be a generic your action was unsuccessful or something of the sort. JK may have the same effect as RB (+ doc obviously) but theyre separate actions.

Maybe i glossed over something, did foolmo say explicitly that he was roleblocked?

Let's all take a step back and remember that jk = doc + rb. It's not like he's kidnapped and untargetable.

To be fair i didn't demand their claims. I still think Chang was perhaps too enthusiastic about it.

And I'm not convinced that igcd is "just Miller". But i also still think he's town so I'm not as pushy on him right now

Basically everyone else at least had some amount of positive town equity in their actions and no one had him on their strong town lists. And scum sat back and let us.

Yep, it's an issue that everyone seems to have SOMETHING going for them. So we will have to dismantle some of our town clears going forward. But that's extremely hard for people to do in general.

Madness doesn't have to mean EVERY role is crazy, just that there might be some gimmick. Like maybe with multiple role thiefs and/or redirects making night actions confusing, on top of spectator tree stumps and lawyers to make the day confusing.

Iirc he was harping about traitor because of the numbers impact it would have, because foolmo was blatantly acting scummy (esp with the bolding of IF I WERE SCUM), and because of the flavor.

Two of those three things didn't convince me much and i was just like "yeah sure ok whatever you say, man, maybe you're right but I'm not going to give that idea much weight until we've exhausted all other scum ideas"

Yes but he is a lot less present today than d1. I think he's traveling or something. That's the joy of the spectators, is that they don't have to commit fully to the game and can leave me to my own devices if they want to, and make me a vanilla.

As much as I would like to go for foolmo/Dumey today there is a clear downside to lynching a claimed doctor even though I think it's likely he's lying. if we have the votes for dumey lmk and I will join there.

I can't help but shake the feeling that there's something up with dumey, but every time anyone has any issue with him he has effectively explained himself and comes away looking fine. I actually had death and dumey in my top two coming in to today! Though Kirby was telling us that death is town over night, it took more convincing from his posts today.

They're town. Mzero missed the town flavor split in the opening post, which scum surely already knew, and I dont think Mzero would have questioned and drawn attention to in the first place if he was scum. Mzero is also promising us that there is a reason he is so absent, so I'm not worried about him right now.

Sbell has made a lot of posts I like, including being the only one to point out Mzero's not being aware of the flavor split post. But there is a specific post of Sbell's that I'm holding onto that I dont want to share right now, but will return to after he claims if needed.

So we have strong conditional town cases on basically everyone... except for Corrik, really.

Ben, what are your thoughts on Mzero and sbell?

I still think the double vote gambit from igcd is more likely to come from his town self. I'm not comprehensive sold on dumey or sbell, and mzero hasn't given us much of anything to work with.

Wallz early T2 does smell like bussing. But his vote on Sultan is so strong. It put Sultan at 3 vs Peaf's 3, giving a viable alternative to Peaf for the first time.

Then Death quickly jumped on Peaf to break the tie (y'all have already forgetten how scummy he is huh?)
If scum Wallz wanted to bus, this is the perfect time and person to vote for, with Death helping maintain Peaf's lead. It's risky since it keeps Sultan only 1 vote away from Peaf, but that's why it's strong. After Sultan gives his counter vote on Peaf "my only option" then there's a 2 vote diff. That gives space for scum Sbell or IGCD to throw an ineffectual late-day vote on Sultan. Result is Peaf is lynched but all the scum on Sultan are perfectly set up for the rest of the game.

I'm going back to wondering if there even was any scum online at the time.

I didn't really care for the d1 numbers talk because A, we had not seen any night kills so couldn't possibly have an idea of how many kills are in the game, and b had not seen any flips so the only role anyone not scum could know was their own.

So death didn't pan out, Dumey got off the hook, and foolmo didn't pan out... maybe my read on Sultan was just pure luck.

Back to the drawing board for the morning reread tomorrow.

Lopen isn't convinced but that's OK.

Would you be more comfortable if we pushed everyone to claim? Who knows what else scum has, maybe they have a backup for Sultan to be able to copy things. But they are on the back foot.

Because you were one of my/ our bigger suspects and now that we can move past that we can focus on the actual scum.

What do you think about Wallz vote on Sultan at end of day? He did it shortly after Ben, and put Sultan solidly into contention for being a primary lynch candidate. That's not early game bussing right? That's committing to the bus at end of day.

I would need to go back to bloodborne to determine how scum wallz handled the jc train for a full comparison. I'm no Ulti.

I think ben did a votal timeline early in the day. But i don't have an answer for you right now.

I agree. If foolmo is scum and has insights into there being no doc in the way that we knew there was no town Miller in literature mafia, then so be it he can live a little bit longer. One way or another action will be forced.

Wallz - Sultan made him his first suspect and first vote hours later. Wallz himself asked Peaf why Sultan was the scummiest.
Sultan also later made a lot of posts to basically attack Wallz all over again. Finally Wallz voting Sultan early makes Wallz look even better naturally.

From that death post. I thought wallz was town for most of d1, but i even said in our hydra chat that early d1 is the easiest time to bus a mate. The stakes are so low, and b8 town is going to get distracted 24 hours later.

And yeah Lopen and Kirby don't have host confirmation that I'm town. I haven't held anything back but they don't have 100% confirmation of that. You can think I'm 3p all you want, hopefully it convinces scum not to kill the best tree hydra that b8 has ever seen

I did tell you the benefits of the little lie about me being limited to Kirby. It didn't actually change my role at all, just my possibilities.
