Like, I seriously can't comprehend why people think it's fair criticism to bemoan a game for being a different genre from another game in the same series. Yes even if those games share the same name.

Well turn-based RPGs are a dying breed so as a fan of the genre it makes sense to be upset that more and more series that were turn-based have gone action. That being said FF went down that road long ago so it's a little late for that.

imo FF7R kinda sucked but a lot of people liked it, so I guess the consensus would be that it's a good game. Rebirth isn't out yet but has good reviews. I likely won't play it

Okay I finally got to Level 4, it just took hanging out with her at night about 10 times lol

I've already maxed all my social stats and both Tower and Devil, so not too concerned about wasting nights. Days are much more valuable

I feel like the game is lying to me. Yukari's been stuck on S.Link level 3 and I noticed a yellow note pops up when you cook or watch TV together, but I've done that like 7 times now (there's not much to do at night...) and she's still not ready to level up, so I feel like this isn't doing anything

I tried the shrine once and that worked, but I reloaded my save and hung out with her at night like 3 times since then, and still nothing. Does anyone know if this actually does anything? lol

The winner in 2000 was Billy & Mandy, and in 2001 it was Kids Next Door, both of which went on to be much more popular and successful than most of the series the Network picked up on its own. the fact that you think this is true is very telling

you lied about your role constantly, including saying you gave out cake and that you had no idea what it did

Literally the exact same thing. The reason Im 4-19 in my last 23 games is because when Im town, people will mislynch me and lose every game in hopes Im scum when they tunnel me. Then in the games I am scum it magically turns into wow was Ulti obvious the entire time.

The fourth alignment is not a meme. Its statistics. FD this game finally stopped doing it, and his play got massively better for it. Shocker I know.

Edit: I absolutely guarantee towns win closer to 50% like theyre supposed to if people pretend I dont exist until night 1.

you might want to consider that it's your play causing this and try to play more pro-town

Not perfect, but according to this the most played songs in Distant Worlds are One Winged Angel, Prelude, Victory Theme, and To Zanarkand. OWA is almost always the last song played from what I can tell, often as an encore

I also looked up a Japanese poll from 2020 of the most popular Final Fantasy songs and the top four were To Zanarkand, Battle on the Big Bridge, Eyes on Me, and Searching for Friends. OWA came in 6th behind Blinded by Light

Because people pick their favorites instead of the actual right answers most of the time. Prelude is the most well known and played song in Final Fantasy.

I'm not a fan of OWA but it is by far the most well known Final Fantasy song overall. I'm pretty sure it's the closer for the Final Fantasy Orchestra shows even. Prelude is a weird case because it's very different in some games, especially like FFX and FFXIII
