Yea, this is a standard legal set so it'll be printed to the ground. It might just take a bit of time for the supply to catch up to demand. The collector packs are the only ones that will be truly limited.

Full release is this weekend, last weekend was the prerelease. That said the products are mostly available during prerelease now so it's a bit muddy. It is an incredibly popular set so many places are sold out though.

Pretty much agree with this. The first half of the season was pretty good but then there's a clear drop in quality in the second half. The stuff with the Hand just doesn't vibe with me too well. That said, crossover events like this are super hype to me so I still enjoyed it overall.

DD1 > DD2 > TD > JJ1 > IF1 > LC1

The Punisher is up next. I enjoyed his character in Daredevil so let's see how this goes.

Nice, the showcase Sephiroth is one of the most valuable cards from the play boosters. I wanna collect them all but some of them are still pretty pricey.

Really depends on the situation. I don't know if I can give you a general answer there since it depends on your deck, your opponent's deck, and the board state.

That said, Magic prerelease is best of three so if you see a bomb that you know you need to get rid of you'll know for games two and three that you might want to hold removal for it just in case.

Not sure if it's too late or not but you pretty much want a good common/uncommon base with solid two drop creatures and removal. Your bombs will generally dictate what you play though. Worth considering splashing a third colour if you have a really strong bomb.

I did two prereleases. For yesterday's event I opened up a Lightning and Firion so I went with a Boros equipment deck. Ended up 2-1 but I opened up a Sephiroth in a pack after the event. For today's I opened up a Kefka and a Kuja so I went Grixis, ended up 3-0.

I started watching the Defenders, I'm actually more hyped for this than I thought I'd be.

Well I mean it's not the Kuja card but it's a Kuja card.

I mean some of them are ok I guess, but some of the FF9 ones revealed today look pretty bad. Like this one is just.. kinda ugly? Angle is bad and it's so low res.

Full set has been revealed now I think. Some surprising omissions but overall seems solid. Still find some of the bonus sheet arts to be lazy though.

Yea. The main set is supposed to be all the mainline games and the commander decks focus on those four games.

Just finished the first season of Iron Fist.

I really wasn't sure about this one when I first started watching it since it seemed like absolutely no one cared for it. It's also about this white dude who learns martial arts in China, which already gets an eye roll from me, and I also didn't like the stuff with the Hand in Daredevil, so my expectations were rock bottom going into this.

But it was ok? I mean the action sequences weren't great, the characters are kinda thin and annoying, but if you kinda turn your brain off it's not terrible. The references to the other shows have been the highlight for sure though. I have a hard time deciding between this and Luke Cage for the bottom of my ranking but I think I'd rather watch another season of this than that.

Also, I have the same stove as Claire.

DD1 > DD2 > JJ1 > IF1 > LC1

Next up is the Defenders. I'm actually kinda looking forward to this one.
