Yea, Jackson doesn't get attacked in the games but that was awesome, big Game of Thrones vibes but you can actually see what's going on. I can't believe they played the song from the game trailer afterwards as well, makes an emotional scene even more emotional.

Awesome episode.

In the podcast they mentioned that the actress was originally supposed to play Ellie in an earlier adaption but she aged out of the role so they gave it to Bella.

The first episode of season two came out yesterday and I wanna talk about it.

Dina stole the show for me, I thought that her actress was great and I'm thinking that I might even like her in the show more than in the game. I liked how they introduced Stalkers and that they were sufficiently creepy enough. The dance scene was also great, loved that it was essentially one to one with the game. The only thing that bugged me a bit was with Abby and her crew, I didn't like how they just revealed their motivations in the first thirty seconds of the episode and Abby seems way too tiny. Overall fairly decent episode and I'm looking forward to next week's.

Finished season one of Luke Cage. Took me a bit to finish this because I went on vacation and didn't have time to watch it.

Probably my least favourite of the Netflix series so far. Like I said before, I didn't find Luke Cage particularly interesting in Jessica Jones and he's not much better here. I also find "invincible heroes" to be kinda boring too and he doesn't really have much going for him to make up for it. Cottonmouth was probably the best new character in the series and I wasn't a huge fan of when they switched over to Diamondback as the main antagonist. Claire was great as usual, I like how she's essentially the Netflix version of Nick Fury.

DD1 > DD2 > JJ1 > LC1

Next up is Iron Fist I guess.

Yea there's a reason why people skip Zote, it's hard enough even without him.

They patched it I think.

Markoth was a killer for me when I was trying the pantheons. It's random enough that it's so easy to just get hit one too many times.

The last one killed me. It's the only thing preventing me from getting the platinum trophy but it's been years since I've played the game and so there's even less of a chance now.

I think it's the Nosk variant found in the final pantheon.

I still don't have a full collection of any set, I'll need to post an update of what I need sometime.

Definitely just requires some practice. I remember at first feeling that it was more impossible than NKG but I think I solved PV faster than NKG.

I did like the stuff with the Punisher and I didn't mind Elektra outside of the ninja stuff.

Finished Daredevil season two. Pretty classic case of "the hero is getting into their groove but then a lot of stuff happens and it's overwhelming to balance their hero and normal lives". Overall a pretty decent season but I wasn't a huge fan of the stuff with the ninjas. I appreciated the groundedness of the first season so I didn't like the added mysticism.

Next up is.. Luke Cage. I really didn't care for this guy in Jessica Jones so I have a feeling this is gonna be a slog.

Mmmf might be a bit before we get a proper "I did a lot of the game" type update. NINE subquest slots this set, spread between multiple areas how annoying. But I gotta get them especially since this was one of the important ones?

I wouldn't say this chapter has important quests. They just give you more insight into the side characters and you'll get an elemental materia for finishing everything.

One of the best minigames in Final Fantasy history.

It's been a couple years since I've played Hollow Knight and when I look at the videos I can see why it might be hard to see. I don't remember having this problem when I was actually playing though.

In the room the statues, is there no way to practice second form bosses? I dont see anything for hornets second fight.

I think you can hit the statue and it'll switch to the harder form.

Has to be the chicken quest.

The basic outfit is kinda hilarious since the reveal is so awkward.

I have no interest in flairing things so this works for me. Announcing something now for end of autumn is pretty early though.

The high fives were fantastic. Wall Market is a great chapter too.

Hellblade 2 for 50% off is tempting but it's such a short game.

Flower picking with Aerith is always nice.

Hell yea, NKG was the first boss fight where after beating him I had to go save the video.

The Nibel section with Cait Sith kills me.

He was probably the best actor of the main cast, everyone else felt so wooden.

Just finished Jessica Jones S1, didn't really enjoy that one that much. It had it's moments but I thought Jessica was a bit annoying and the plot wasn't that interesting. Daredevil S2 is next. I guess I'll do an ongoing ranking as I go through them.

Yea the Pantheons are tough. The last one is the reason why I don't have the platinum.

I gave her linked Elemental to Fire so now she's got big Ken Masters energy with flaming fists (love that there are graphical effects for the elemental links-- I need more of this materia).

Unfortunately there's only two Elemental materia in the game. You have the first one and the second one requires you to clear all the sidequests in chapter 14.

Can't you open the menu during cutscenes?

The Zack sections were pretty boring yea, but I somehow didn't expect them to crossover so early.
