Is the steam deck still the same one that came out three years ago? Do they not constantly update new ones sold with new componenrs like a PC or did they just make one type and haven't made any new updated more powerful versions yet?

They're waiting for a significant generational leap in power. They're also going to have to do a lot of work getting build costs and profit margins in order since components aren't getting any cheaper.

Outlaws requires RT and since SD doesn't have dedicated RT hardware it struggles a lot more, despite the CPU/RAM advantage.

It has architectural advantages and tailored porting efforts ("Deck verified" is a meme at this point) that give it an edge. Still has a weaker CPU and less RAM though.

Also, the Deck screen caps out at 800p/90 fps so that probably has something to do with it.

That's the end goal. Property owners don't want to categorize houses as one or two bedrooms, instead they'll list how many beds can fit.

There are a few things that are pretty safe to conclude, like the fact he's white, seemingly cis, and that his family loves guns. Those alone have been enough to get conservative circles to change their tune dramatically.

If you start googling what patents random video game companies own you'll wonder how any video game is made without stepping on somebody's toes. Matchmaking systems in particular are mine fields. That's because it's exactly what it is, and all it is.
It doesn't mean nobody can do something similar or even achieve the same outcome, they just can't do it the way they did. Lots of stupid basic things are patented, but as stupid as copyrighting an idea is it only rarely results in anything meaningful (with the worst exception being some medicines).

They really don't want to acknowledge it for obvious reasons. It's also why they're careful to balance corruption with letting people have their bread and circuses. Things went too far in Nepal and this is the result.

The Harris campaign was fine and she was overall a good candidate. Even if there was somebody better to take her place there was very little anyone could do to counteract the problems with our elections, namely the rampant right wing propaganda that brainwashed the handful of voters where it counts into thinking the president has an economy lever on their desk and only Republicans are willing to switch it to "good."

That's not how information works when it grabs attention. The goal is to post radical information enough to hit a target that will catch like wild fire. The source or start gets obscurity and the information that was passed gets the highlight. We are in an age of misinformation warfare. It doesn't matter how small the voice of the message as the goal is to have it amplified by bad actors.

I mean I get it. It's latent anger over the "Bernie bros" who definitely cost Clinton the election and not the literal decades of slander against her name. On another level it's not a belief that online leftists are the holdout votes costing elections, it's that if online leftists go away Democrats will win over the relatively small percentage of moderates needed to consistently win. It's comforting to think that because otherwise nobody has any idea how to actually appease and appeal to moderates, besides perhaps moving further to the right. That's why the focus isn't on pointing and laughing at idiots who voted for a better economy and are now getting owned, because the hope is they can still be converted to loyal blue voters.

I'm annoyed not because I'm a secret commie/tankie, I legit have no idea who these people are and frankly I don't want to know. My concern is over the right wing figures who are far more prominent and any effort not going towards combating the very real alt-right pipeline is a huge waste. Basically I don't want Democrats to keep losing, and this ain't helping with that. Like, at all.

You blame protest voters for everything. You seem to think if every protest voter suddenly voted we would win when that's very obviously not the case. The amount of protest voters was negligible. More Democrats just sat out because they were lazy and apathetic and don't actually care that much.

Not sure about percentages but going purely by numbers Harris got more votes than Biden did in most swing states. I also did the math at one point and found that even if Green party and other left adjacent parties had voted for Harris she still would have lost to the sheer number of Trump voters.

Exit polls point to economic and immigration being the top two concerns by far. Gaza was at the very bottom or lumped in as a distant "other." Protest voters are largely confined to blue states which are still overwhelmingly blue.

Anyway, it's nice to see that she agrees with what "doomers" and "secret MAGA" were saying in 2023 and that "Biden old" or "Biden unpopular" were indeed incredibly valid talking points.

Are they a sizable portion of NYC voters? Is there verifiably data highlighting their voting records and analysis that it's a problem that needs to be addressed? Are they big enough that it's important enough they all fall in line and not catering to them fully is a mistake? Are they small enough that their vote doesn't matter and thus focusing on them obsessively, more than the moderates that were proven to have gotten Trump elected due to economic reasons, is a mistake? Are they more of a roadblock to Mamdani than said moderates?

I'm trying to understand why this particular fringe group is worth this much mind space where your reddit account is literally nothing but whining about the same three people. Is it because the belief is that margins are so thin but with the online tankie support Democrats would win easily?

That's where secretary of commerce Howard Lutnick, or more specifically his kids, come in. They'll swoop in and offer a quick payment to the rights to their refund. Many small businesses will be desperate and agree, while the value of that refund only gets larger with interest. Larger companies might be willing to part with their potential refunds as well.

It depends on when the SCOTUS makes their decision. If tariffs keep getting collected, and interest keeps growing on the amount the treasury owes, it could end very badly.
