Popeyes has gotten considerably worse in the last 4-5 years imo. Debut chicken sandwich was also of much higher quality than the ones they sell now.

KFC is extremely hit or miss and a lot of their items are ripoffs portion wise. But on a good day, extra crunchy still has an appeal and the seasoning is still solid.

I've had churchs a couple times and both times were extremely bland but juicy.

But most importantly, biscuits.

Popeyes > Churchs >>>> KFC

Yeah, it's good.
The animation is great, the characters are all good, morals are great.

It's unarguably the best preschooler cartoon ever. Unlike pretty much every other one that is all about bright colors and trying to make money, the people that work on Bluey very clearly care a ton about their product.
Most preschool shows are garbage, with the highest praise that I can give to some of them like Peppa Pig is that "they're fun to watch and make fun of if you are forced into it". Bluey is legitimately a good cartoon.

I watch Bluey with my nieces and it's genuinely good stuff.

When they turn on Trolls or anything else, I want to die. And it turns them into savages lol.

I was frustrated, not sad. Weak to back out of a new job offer, stability for the family, and the parents growing older/slower and kids maturing in a new neighborhood would be healthy for everyone. They also probably owe money on the second house they need to back out of, and the dad quit his job to boot, and all the furniture seemed to be gone in the recap.

Lots of AI art, you may or may not notice or care. But it has it.

They are incredibly faithful to the canon of the Bethesda Fallout universe which, let's face it, is the real one now. No, I'm not talking about NV, I mean if you're a sucker for 2 or especially 1... you're out of luck.

I had a good time with it, very much a junk food show. MC was one of the better vault dwellers in the media, absolutely couldn't stand goggins character though. Felt like a very rough and tumble ripoff of the MiB from Westworld.

Elden Ring never clicked for me. I started to go into a tangent, but I'll skip it. Felt bloated, exploration and loot weren't rewarding, awful PvP and build variety problems, and full of repetitive content. I made it to the Sewers/SL125 before bowing out. Faith was my chosen build and it felt so weak and lifeless.

In my head, 100% of the time, I'm trying to relate/sympathize/reframe their problem with my experience. Also 100% of the time, people get irritated at that trait.

These days I just listen, and then follow up with a question that is also about them/continues their thread. Unless I'm asked a question about myself I don't interject with my experiences. Sadly, this has lead me to realize not a lot of people ask about me.

Also this makes me wonder how actor contracts work, that they can just sorta throw this at him randomly like that.

In the gaming studios I've worked in, the writing team would pitch the script to the director and he'd personally work to contact agents to cast the roles, since he'd already know from the finance dudes what's going on.

In indie studios, you'd be surprised how far a nice DM and asking their line rate gets you. A lot of the recurring VA are surprisingly affordable, and bored celebrities can happen. E.G: Sean Bean only wanted like 1k for Kholat for whatever reason.

Edit: In a huge AAA budget like this, Matt Mercer was obviously offered a generous salary for some easy work and he took the bait, or the same thing happened but they obviously offered him a better contract right after the gag.

If you can find a 6800XT for $500 or less that is still a powerhouse card, too. AMD is having trouble with both supply and drivers for the 7xxx series (And I'm an AMD only user, I hate Nvidia) so I'd recommend skipping out on them for now.

Anyway, you can build a great 1080p PC for under 1k and a solid 1440p one for like 1.2-1.5 depending. It is a trap to buy a 7900XTX or a 4080Ti or anything right now as their cost simply does not outweigh their viability.

Bigger pot. You need a bigger pot than you think for spaghetti. If you're breaking it, you're using a saucepan, which is nah.

If you have something inbetween where only an inch or two sticks out just submerge them and swirl-bend them in slowly over the course of a minute. While the noodle inside the water softens, you can spin the whole thing in via coaxing.

The game feels at constant odds with itself. How do you make a horror game where the basic movement function is an immortality function? Already fails from that point completely. Also the prequel podcast is so much better than the so called main product its almost embarrassing.

What was the name of the podcast? Because the lore in-game was so brief and rushed that I felt like I had to be missing something in how fast they start talking about the "meat" of the game/mystery. Like, almost immediately after you meet that "bruv" guy you already know what's going on.

The biggest sin to me was the warden with his holograms and waxing post-humanism. It felt so derivative and sad. And that happens immediately too. The entire game blows its load in 30 seconds and nothing new is discovered or learned across the entire game except, MAYBE, the worm.

Man, that game sucked. Hamfisted story, tries to capture the "everything goes to hell" from Dead Space 2 and fails remarkably at any tension or stakes. They paid for a ton of hollywood actors to have almost no lines in the game. I know people say it's dead space at home all the time, but man, it really was. But six hours and the credits hit me? Good lord man lol. I feel so, so bad for people who spent $70 on this.

Feel for the graphics artists and level designers. I think the game will be talked about in years to come as an unbelievably good looking, truly "next gen" title. The snowy moon, the hidden colony, and the final high-tech chapter looked jawdropping. It's a shame the entire game has like 3 enemy types that attack you one at a time very patiently, amounting to you holding left, then right, then attacking. Forever. Ad nauseam. Like, that's actually all there is to the combat.

I think 6 gets too much hate. Sure, it's not a great RE game but some people treat it like it's the Sonic '06 of the franchise. The actual gameplay is fantastic, and all you need to do is play the Mercenaries mode to see that.

It has one of the most fluid, engaging third person combat systems any game has had -- even to today. The amount of positioning flexibility in dives, rolls, going prone, dismantling enemies or overall just engaging with them is unreal. Too bad it's wrapped up in the worlds worst RE shell lol.

They've long since said if they focused on one of the campaigns, made the rest DLC (maybe) and polished up the graphics and presentation it'd have been a slam dunk. Luckily the dumpster fire sold enough to fund RE7 and the creation of the RE-Engine, which is why we're at the point we are today.

I remember going inside, taking a sip, smiling at her and then waking up in the hospital two days later. Just like that. As ridiculous as it sounds, it was sheer teleportation. Blink, and her face is replaced my hospital lights.

Unreal amounts of Xanax in my system. Wallet emptied, my debit and credit card were run to the max at the same bar (Stolen by whoever drugged me, I imagine.) my expensive prescription glasses were nowhere to be found and one shoe was gone. I never quite heard how it all went down, because I never heard from her again. In time, I suspected she did it and robbed me.

7 was overwhelmingly popular, reviewed great, and sold well but no one talks about it ever anymore. So in a way I agree. I wasn't nuts about 8. I didn't hate it, but it was incredibly short and I felt the marketing was a tad misleading with the vampire stuff. That section was over in what felt like minutes.

Instead it felt like an amusement park ride with distinct themed sections borrowing heavily from motifs in prior RE games.

I've done Tomb of Annihilation and other starter one-offs for the group before, and they really like my style, so they want me to cook up a story.
