Their debut album came out right before the end of my junior year of high school. Their second album came out in 94 right when I was going into boot camp in the Navy. Like literally the day of. Dolores had such an amazing voice. I never really followed them after the 3rd album in 96 and don't really recall them having a hit after that. Everything I ever hear played is from the first 3 albums and really from the 3rd album you only really hear Salvation being played. "Dreams" and "Linger" from their debut album were bigger hits in the US but I feel that "Zombie" is their so-called signature song and "probably" the first song that most people associate the band with. I just want to note that their final album (released the year after Dolores' death) was a fine finale, if sobering for the fact that it really was over after 25 years.
