No, you can definitely build something equivalent under $600 That PC is close to $900 in my region. Fwiw, not everyone lives in a good market for PC hardware. I converted it and saw it's like $597, but my point still stands on peripherals. Most homes have a TV, at least ones in the market for a console. Not everyone has a spare desk, monitor, headphones/speakers, kb/m and a chair. Did you guys know there are multiple 100m+ dollar games being killed in the crib that the suits were pushing because they were popular during the pandemic? Hyenas, Titanfall Legends, just to name two. Those aren't small potatoes to these companies. PC Hardware took a powder from both crypto and chip shortages. Ps5 took it worse. You couldn't find a Switch anywhere for a year. Etc. An effective 3 years minimum on the Nvidia 3xxx series, AMD 6xxx series, Ps5 and Xbox X|S have been erased. Man the tank, aircraft and naval designers take all the fun out of the game. They suck. Oh look yet another one who can't give any reasons on why they think DS9 is the best. Let me tell you a couple of three things. 1: Relax lol 2: I didn't post my reasons for it because I didn't want to derail the topic. You have some killer points. I especially agree with 9 through 11. To me, though, I enjoyed the serialization. The war was interesting until it wasn't. Garak, Sisko, Bashir, Dax, Kira are all phenomenal. I think Worf sucks, but it had the best Klingon politics and arcs, especially Gowron and Martok (Who, to be fair, as acting talent were only matched by Garak's) so they had a lot of heavy lifting in otherwise muddled scripts. Cardassians were awesome, especially the Obsidian Order. Pale Moonlight, Beyond the Stars, The Visitor, and especially Duet were just top tier TV. DS9 with its pants on is stronger than anything TNG could muster and I've seen both series multiple times. TNG to me is just space Aesop's Fables with Mary/Gary Stu characters 100% of the time ramrodding babys first philosophy lessons into the viewers. And, to be fair, that was the #1 complaint of Roddenberry in his later years from the showrunners and specifically why DS9 caught fire how it did. I'll toss in some legitimate DS9 complaints, too. The sexual misconduct is disgusting. The set crew were flaming racists. They butchered three storylines because preemptive viewer polls told them to. They came out to admit they had no actual ending planned for the DW, and the man in charge of the last two seasons was jerking off to the Chosen Sisko/ Kai Win crap 24/7 because he was a religious nut and it's pure cringe. Unlivable minimum wage, 40 hours being considered too much, no work/life balance, erratic scheduling. Stuff they've gotten away with relatively painlessly for decades is coming around full circle. I think we're going to see a few wolves in sheep clothing companies that try to rebrand, much like how Starbucks did in the early to mid 2000s-2010s. But politically everyone gets their turn when it's too late. Boomers will be out of the game in twenty years, that will be when x'ers are the predominant aged governency. And they have some draconian, conservative (not the political kind) values bubbling underneath. In forty years we'll see millenials and x'ers at bat with each other, and if the Z and A generations ever get out of grassroot formations it'll be anti-order. To wrap up your question, the most prominent example of their banded causes might be a rise in popularity of "third party" choices in the West. Whether they get elected or not is another thing, but the illusion of more choice could pacify them. Even if you don't do the machine, you should still do the rest of the creche as it has some big developments in Lae'zel's personal storyline (which also has a very close tie to the main plotline as well). Plus it has some nice loot at the end of it, specifically if you finished all of "Find the Blood of Lathander" quest stuff in the temple. That thing is so ridiculously powerful. I have all the Radiant + Radiant Orb gear on SH as a Light Cleric. Spirit Guardians? Anything that gets close literally explodes. Boss? Daylight Goku Beam. Too many shades in Act 2? Here's the sun. The chair will always explode, if you miss the rolls you get some permanent debuffs (I've heard patches adjusted this, but I haven't been bothered to read those novelization of notes) Telling the Dr you either still have the tadpole or have grown stronger will make her hostile, you can fight a small group of Githyanki but the rest of the Creche doesn't care. Telling the Dr you have amnesia or feel better defuses the situation. If you want to bang Lae'Zel, you should put her in her place and demand you go first. She actually respects it, and it's one of the bigger reputation bumps you can get from her. Telling anyone you have the artifact is a fight and makes you hostile to them all, fyi. When I worked at wal-mart from 2012 to 2018 the staffing and coverage was okay or good at the start but then after a while something changed. What used to be a decently staffed store then became skeleton crews at most hours of the day. It was around that time they figured out that the shrinkage from theft was more or less static per market and wasn't correlated to employee count, so they torpedoed staffing to still come out ahead on profit. Some added funyuns are threat of theft or robbery, forced to stay due to constant callouts, no weekends off, did I mention no benefits whatsoever?
