But co-op with 4 characters or people against bosses takes the fun out of it so you can just steamroll the bosses who are all human type enemies. It's not like dark souls nameless king where it feels like the giant monster has a fair chance against 3 dudes running around. As soon as you have 4 in a group you can just bully enemies & it takes all the fun out of it. I think it's best played with 2, maybe 3 people at most for fights where there's more than one boss |

Once they knew the content exceeded what would just be an add-on to the first, they made it a full sequel. This is project creep yes, then COVID-19 happened & fucked their development cycle probably just like it did for most of the industry. & Given it's literally a team of 5 or so people last I checked, it will take time to develop. It's not a "delusion" to realize that a team of that size isn't going to patch this together that quick when studios 20x their size don't put games out in less than that time in a finished state but larger in scope. I was mostly teasing with my first post but once people start referring to it in wild ways I blow my top lol. Of course I'm defending it's development cycle, the first game was an amazing buy for 20$ or whatever. I don't want a sequel that just reuses assets, & is a carbon copy of HK with 30-40% different material in it. It'll come out when it's done, & there's no reason to believe it's pulling a Duke Nukem forever or Beyond Good & Evil 2. It's stayed in house, as far as we know as Team Cherry has not said elsewise. Last time they said anything about it was in the last year, & Xbox threw them under the bus partially giving a release date when they weren't ready yet lol |

Not all of Sterling's videos are this "doom & gloom" parade that people pretend they are & as an avid viewer, I can immediately tell at a glance that the people complaining about the style don't watch them actively. They don't like having to talk about negative occurrences all the time because they realize how demoralizing that is, but they do it because talking about these situations often is how you understand what's happening, & then how you can improve it. Women are still clawing back their freedom for abortion & bodily autonomy in the states, & yet we still have negative topics talking about when the GOP does some new insane shit that affects women & couples. No one ever goes into those threads & says "wow this is just too much negativity for me, imma have to unsub from this timeline & dip." No, people that care about the problems stay engaged & up to date on what's going on, no matter how dour it might get. That's how the human condition works lol. If people don't have the mental headspace to keep up with something every single day I get it. But if people actually in anyway care about an issue whatever it is, you will stay informed & up to date about it. Whether it's abusive gaming industry practices, women's rights or civil rights, or otherwise. I would argue the world is getting worse by a small % day after day given climate change & we're just waiting for the end, but that's just my pessimistic view on things. Maybe some technology or mass human campaign will bail us out, but that's a conversation for another topic |

We drop off & meet them to hand everything over, & a cute girl was at the door & she had a dog that was barking at first to alert her to someone there. I make small talk & start unpacking everything, & just asked her out like "hey I'm sorry if this comes off weird, but you're really cute & I'm just asking if maybe sometime you'd possibly like to go out?" She politely turned me down, we wrapped up the business & that was that. Never saw her again. It's really easy to not be creepy or too weird in most instances even if it's unprofessional, unprompted messages over text & just sitting outside someone's residence is not the way to do it in any way shape or form |

The first person was born in the US, used US resources, & goes to prison for their crime at 18. The second person grew up to 18 in another country(doesn't matter which one), then immigrated to the US & committed the act before going to prison for the same crime. Which person can be perceived to have cost the US more before/during imprisonment? Could it be argued to people that oppose diverse workforces, immigrants to be allowed to legally immigrate, or encouraging people to grow up in the US from Dreamers & such that US citizens on average in such cases, actually cost the government & the system more money than people who moved to the US but weren't born here? |

The Edge has two back bumper buttons you can pop in, & then remap buttons to whatever you want if you want those to be A for the left bumper, & B for the right or something. I like the general use ones, there's two sets. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/e/e1843c20.jpg I use the top pair because it better conforms to my grip on the back of the controller, & I haven't tried using the bottom ones because they're a weird shape imo. But they're metal so they are durable & pop in easily, but the bottoms would be good for when you want easy click ins. Hal effect basically means that in standard joysticks/analogs on controllers, there's a magnetic strip that helps the stick move around in different directions & that strip runs out over time when you move the joystick a lot. So eventually, the magnetic contact point wears down & starts drifting naturally with high use when the potentiometers wear out, & then the electrical resistance between the points causes unwanted inputs. HAL effect eliminates that by putting another magnetic sensor that uses electricity & differences in voltage to create a conductive service that never physically touches with the other parts, so you won't get the physical wear down that traditional sticks get. Then that magnet moves relative to where the conductor is in the stick, then transmits that position to the console to give you the direction on the analog stick. One more thing, I should note that Hal joysticks aren't immune to drift. But you'd have to be gaming hard for hundreds of thousands of hours before you'd ever start seeing it, compared to regular sticks where you can see drift in like 50 hours & shit sometimes like with the switch joycons & original controller. |

But yeah if you want official sticks, they're 20$ a pop, & then anywhere from 10$-20$ for 2 packs of other OEM sticks but they won't have the function buttons that the stick modules from Sony do. I'm pretty sure they're doing official Hal effect joysticks in the next year that you can trade out |

@Jupiter Yes I think it is, I use it in SF6 & Tekken 8 & the ability to customize dead zones & responsiveness on the controller. I'm not a hardcore player, but it's much more 'stiff' so it doesn't feel like it's squishing in too hard since the D-Pad is one button ofc, & then doing double inputs or something |

The Dualsense Edge is a higher grade controller strictly. & yes @Kaiganeer, you can replace the analog sticks entirely so you can pop in Hal Effect joysticks if need be, but you can adjust for deadzone on the Edge as well so I doubt I should have to do that specifically unless I fuck it up sometime so I'll never have drift again |
