| hereforemnant 04/01/24 2:12:58 AM #1 | I'm surprised I keep discovering more features about it as time goes on. One of them being, how lacking the case that comes with the Steam Deck is. Sure the deck fits inside it, but it has a really pointless gap on the bottom of the case with a thin strap covering it(for the little sheathe you get with the Deck I guess?)& really not much else. The case will only carry the Deck & nothing else. For a 500$+ handheld PC, this is pathetic, & another case or carrying item was one of the first things I needed a new one of from a third party. Meanwhile for a 200$ controller, the case has a small pouch to put a cable in, & a small velcro opening at the back so the controller can be shut in the case, pop that open, then charge it while inside the case. This is something Valve should do if they make an official case actually worth a shit for the Deck. You also have a little lock that attaches to the back of the controller, where you can secure a USB-C & lock it down very securely so it doesn't pop out of the controller. It locks & unlocks & is a smart little gadget when you can very easily snag a cable & pull it out by accident. I give a lot of shit to Sony, but sometimes it feels like they do actually try to innovate with their tech & hardware, & while the Edge is a 'luxury' item, I believe it fully warrants the price given the features available to you & for what you get. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/e/e5c89886.jpg |

One of my supervisors at an old job had it, & it ruined my shifts when she was in a bad mood because of the amount of attitude & shit I would get from her because I HAD to be around her. Medication can help to some extent I know, but you'd really have to go through trials on finding something that fits you best. People who really love & care about you will be the ones who stick around, but finding those people will be like Sisyphus pushing a boulder up a hill. |
