Tiktok is not owned by China, the owner is from Singapore which is a US Allyfrom what i can gather, tiktok was founded/developed by a chinese company (bytedance), though at this point they retain a 20% stake in it. it's headquartered in singapore and the usa, incorporated in a caribbean tax shelter country, and its ceo for the past few years is singaporean. so yeah, xenophobic witch hunt / moral panic, likely backed by anticompetitive american corporate influences, and a seething political apparatus that can't exert political control / influence / censorship of its content. --- http://i.imgur.com/A0TAfek.png |
