Looking over yesterday's tourney results, 3 things are clear.

Celebi is as strong as expected.

M2 gets straight upgrades and that's that I'm toying with next, can't wait! Mew replaces baby M2, then those slabs and Blue and Leaf are all used.

Weezing/Scolipede is for real.

Man the Celebi deck is extremely similar to M2, once the stage 2 is up it's pretty much unstoppable.

It's really not that great because of the two energy. It breaks the synergy with Ninetails which you don't want to stop using once it's up because it loses an energy per attack, and you want it up fast.

Shit, after doing all the solo missions I have enough to crack open another 10 pack! Doing that tonight, then the saving begins again.

Anyway, those solo battles were tougher than the initial ones. The last fighting one was really pissing me off, getting double heads all the time.

My issue isn't conversations, it's finishing long tasks or physically being unable to preform tasks I find pointless. My ADHD is mild though. My parents didn't like the way the medicine made me as a child, so they took me off and I've never been on meds for it since. It probably would have made college halla easier, but otherwise I've never felt I needed any.

What's the point of these non-playoff bowl games? I keep reading that star players for teams aren't even playing bc they're either declaring for the draft or entering the transfer portal. Seems like a lot of these games are purely for the novelty

Some kids will play because they need that extra exposure for a possibility of being drafted, and of course the schools get big $$$.

Poker is a game that takes 5 minutes to learn, a lifetime to master. Or a year or so endlessly grinding with solver assistance and talent. Either way, all you need to know is the 5 minutes part. Then you'll be building your strategies around one of the hand types, such as a pair build, flush build, 4 of a kind build, etc. Knowing poker really only helps with the first few rounds when you're still getting the direction of your build, but most people play flushes those rounds anyway, or full houses if they get dealt one. In other words poker knowledge isn't crucial to the game, only knowing hand rankings.

There were quite a few openings after last season and he expressed interest in a couple, but ultimately didn't get them. I think the league effectively put him on notice that he was done and honestly, the facts that he only had a single winning season after Brady's departure (vs 3 losing ones) and ended his tenure with the worst record of his entire career (including his seasons in Cleveland), I can't really disagree. Sure, maybe new scenery could have done him some good, but how many teams were in a position where he would certainly be able to win "immediately?" At 72 years old, Belichick isn't getting younger and if all he knows is Bill Parcells' old school approach, then he probably really isn't for the league anymore. Andy Reid and the Harbaugh brothers are probably the last active NFL coaches that we'll ever see from that era, yet the reason that they're still active and Belichick isn't is because they maintained success through major change after major change and Belichick struggled after the one major one during his exceptionally long Patriots tenure.

It's not that he isn't for the league anymore, it's just that he's picky at this point, and owners are leary because they know what he'll demand. He gave UNC a 400 page football bible to approve for fucks sake. I'm sure what he asked of Altanta last year was hefty as well. Also Belichick swung and missed on Mac Jones, in a draft he didn't really want to take him to begin with. There was really no choice. Don't forget that he had an 11 game win season with Matt fucking Cassell at QB.
