Fire decks are literally held together by Moltres and nothing else. You don't open Moltres and Growlithe, you're noticeably behind.

I've almost never lost to Moltres decks cuz they usually brick against me, but they do have the option of not being completely weak to elec. Except I run a water deck so they're basically food for me usually

Is there a way to grind the game aside of doing daily quests?

What makes Pikachu Ex deck so strong? I got the variated art one but I don't know exactly what is about his power.

It needs 3 elec benched pokemon for 90 damage. With Giovanni, it goes for 120. It seems that is pretty possible to get handbricked trying to have too many basics.

I just scoop immediately when I see someone with a Dratini now. They need to nerf Dragonite. Choose your opponents cards at random my ass. Its always 150 damage to the Pokemon you need to survive and 100 to the others.

I know it sounds weird, but I had a duel where I scoped his hand, knew that he bricked, and played aggressively because he couldn't outpace me. I mean it also lets you know if you're gonna lose lol

Scope was so much better than I thought, cuz it also lets you know if you should use Red Card.

Update: Ended up having to use points to get Mewtwo ex and I STILL haven't yet pulled one from a pack. I fucking opened 10 packs at once and not one had it. Such BS and you got these dudes just pulling top three rares GTFO here.

I don't have anything above 2 gold star yet, and I got like 3 2 gold stars. Crazy to hear so many ppl own those super high rarity cards

Also I've looked around, and it seems people are pretty against the idea of using 2 stage evos in general especially if there's any brackets or high wr requiring swiss. Mewtwo/Gardevoir is ok enough it seems, but the representation of 2 stage evo decks in that competitive list was really low, which contributes to them not being on any win rates.

Sadly if you don't rely on 2 stage evos, you gotta run something like Articuno, which is much worse peak than a Blastoise. Pikachu Zapdos being base means they're just really consistent, but they also have a much higher rep and cannibalize Articuno decks, the 2nd highest rep. All in all, pretty misleading conclusions

I'm guessing we need like 4 copies of cards to trade them. If it's as easy as 1 for 1 trade then people would make a bunch of alts and trade all the cards to the main account and no point in wasting money in the game.

What makes Raichu work with Pika EX? Just having a power hitter? Maybe running Lt Surge? What else goes into that deck, seems intriguing

Can someone explain using the fossils in non fossil decks? Even after watching a vid or two about it I still don't get it.

Blastoise Starmie (or Lapras, imo around the same power level cuz Lap doesn't need to draw as well) deck is too crazy right now. With just 1 heads on Misty and going second, you can also just outpace Pikachu/Zapdos teams pretty easily. Pikachu can't one shot and Zapdos takes too long getting to 3 energy and also needs 3 heads or 2 heads and Giovanni to knock out a Starmie. You basically either buy time and just retreat to Blastoise or rush with the 90 dmg cuz your energy output is higher than elec deck due to Misty. The other option is that you get 2 Pikachus in rotation and they each have 2 energy by the time Blastoise knocks out one of them. But if they have a Starmie that's full HP, they can just tank a Pikachu hit and kill in retaliation.

Blastoise when he has 5 energy is just gg. He's too tanky for the whole meta. Zapdos can kill with 3 heads and Giovanni, but it's just not really gonna happen more often than not.

The only comparable power level in a deck right now is Mewtwo/Gardevoir. Mewtwo chips for 50 and then hopefully you have Gardevoir set up for the loop. Even then, if the other team preserves Blastoise and they just 5 water 160 dmgs you, one Mewtwo being down means you can't bring up another Mewtwo fast enough to KO Blastoise.

I know they're heavily influenced by how good their Misty flips are, but they can win without Misty if they go second and get a clean evolution hand.

So yeah I think we should probably eventually see water decks being considered the best. I don't think they're as scary without Blastoise. 180 HP/160 dmg is just kinda ridiculous.

Venusaur decks are decent too cuz of Erika being able to buy time. It's pretty fucking hard to kill Venusaur, but again, 5 energy Blastoise can kill Venusaur faster than they can heal.

Thinking of using my next 150 pack points for another Weezing so I have 2. Seems to be growing in popularity for a lot of decks and strong against the current meta.
