Shadow the Hedgehog was a more serious and mature take on the Sonic series, but it turns out that SEGA originally had plans to take things even further with an M-rated classification.

That news comes from Jason Griffith, who voiced the character in the GameCube game. Griffith was looking back on the role in an interview with GameLuster.

The site was told that he actually recorded two takes for every line. Had SEGA gone with its original plan, it sounds like Shadow would be dropping f-bombs right and left.

Griffith said the following regarding Shadow the Hedgehogs initial M-rated plan and cursing:

Right, they were going for an M-rating with this game and they hadnt heard back from the agency if they were going to get it yet. So they had me record two takes for every line, and I swear, the version that was for the M-rating, they had me say f*** in every single line. It was just every sentence, I would be yelling Sonic, give me that f***ing Chaos Emerald! or something like that. I had no idea what was going on but I just went with it, and I had fun. Theres a hard drive somewhere with hours of recordings of Shadow yelling f*** at Tails and Sonic and stuff.

Video captures a bear named Oreo sneaking into homes in Monrovia and ransacking fridges in the search for food. The bear is seen typically roaming around a cul-de-sac on Canyon Crest Drive.

While trying to enter one of the homes, the bear ripped a window screen off attempting to enter through the front window but was unsuccessful. It eventually found a way in through an open side door.

Another neighbor left her garage door open and the bear wasted no time exploring the property. The bruin headed directly to the refrigerator and opened it up. It eventually found a box of chocolate cake which it quickly opened and began enjoying.

On May 29th, 1999, one of the worst video games of all time was released.

Developed and published by Titus Interactive, Superman: The New Superman Adventures (more commonly known as Superman 64) endured a troubled development, with Warner Bros. and DC Comics constantly at loggerheads with Titus over the direction of the game.

Despite some positive press prior to its release and decent initial sales, which some people forget about the game was savaged by critics, coming under fire for its technical issues, shoddy controls and below-average visuals. In the years that have passed, the game has topped multiple "worst games" lists from a wide range of publications and websites.

Titus handed the game to BlueSky Software for a PS1 port, but this was scrapped in 2000 when the company's deal with Warner Bros. and DC Comics expired.

Today, Sakuba Metal Works and SmokymonkeyS announced that theyre bringing a remastered version of Garage: Bad Dream Adventure to Switch in just a few days. It launches worldwide on June 6, 2024.

Garage: Bad Dream Adventure first came out in 1999, but only in Japan. The remastered version features updated visuals, a refreshed user interface, improved game balance, and new content such as additional chapters, subquests, and multiple endings. English will be fully supported.

Garage: Bad Dream Adventure was originally released as a PC adventure game in 1999. In this game, the player character enters his inner world through a psychotherapeutic machine. He is turned into an odd-looking biological machine and searches for a way to escape from that world. Because of its unique world setting, it is described as one of the top three warped games or bizarre games.

It is basically a mystery-solving exploratory adventure game. But it also has many RPG elements such as character development through body modifications and intricate fishing system. And the story questions the ambiguity of escaping from the world and staying in the world.

One of the features of Garage is its detailed world building. Elements like energy circulation, ecosystem and how the world came about are intertwined tightly, and are reflected in the game system, bringing to life the feel of the deep another world. The unique feeling of strangeness and anxiety surrounding the whole game, even though it is not a horror or depressing game, is created by these settings and system.

In this remastered version, almost all images have been retouched, videos have been revised using AI frame interpolation, user-interface and game balance have been improved, and new chapters, subquests, and multiple endings have been added.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) The plant that is said to have been used to execute Socrates could also be in your backyard, as the highly poisonous plant continues to spread throughout the United States.

Poison Hemlock is a flowering plant that is part of the carrot family, but it can be fatal if ingested by humans or animals. The non-native plant was relatively rare until about 30 years ago, said Ohio Department of Natural Resources chief botanist Richard Gardner, but now its becoming more common.

The plant can be found in every state in the country, with the exception of Alaska, Florida, Hawaii and Mississippi, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.

When is the next cicada-geddon?
Poison hemlock was originally brought to America from Europe as a garden plant.
Its been in Ohio as early as the mid-1850s at least, brought in as an ornamental plant because of its unique foliage and white flowers, Gardner said. It was actually planted in peoples landscaping, and it has been spreading.

The biennial plant has fern-like leaves and white flowers, which usually begin to bloom between June and August. It can grow up to 10 feet tall but more commonly grows to around 6 to 8 feet, according to Gardner.

Poison Hemlock typically grows along fence lines, in irrigation ditches and in moist environments.

Poison hemlock likes full sun but can grow in partial shade, Gardner said. It cant handle extremely dry, well-drained soil.

The plant could be confused for parsley or wild carrot, Gardner said, but ingesting it could be a fatal mistake.

This is a very deadly plant, Gardner said. It has alkaloids in its sap to protect it from things eating it herbivores. All parts of the plant are poisonous, so you dont want to ingest any of it.

Eating any part of the plant can result in it attacking ones nervous system and heart, according to Gardner. Most of the time, hemlock is only poisonous if ingested and people will not get a rash from touching it, according to the Cleveland Clinic. But even without eating the plant, Gardner said, there are other ways one could suffer from a reaction, so people should be cautious around it.

If youre cutting it and the sap flies into your eyes or if you have a cut or something and the sap gets in the cut, you certainly can have a reaction to it, Gardner said. If youre chopping it down or mowing through it the sap can get airborne and can go through your nose or mouth.

If someone thinks they may have ingested the poisonous plant, Gardner said they should go to the emergency room.

Symptoms of hemlock poisoning
Symptoms of hemlock poisoning can occur almost immediately after ingesting the plant, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Symptoms include sweating, vomiting, dilated pupils, excess salivation, dry mouth, rapid heartbeat, restlessness, confusion, muscle weakness, twitching, tremors and seizures.

In more severe cases, hemlock poisoning can cause delayed symptoms such as slow heartbeat, low blood pressure, muscle paralysis, muscle breakdown, muscle death, kidney failure and central nervous symptom depression.

For those with livestock or pets, symptoms of hemlock poisoning typically appear within an hour after the plant is ingested, and animals can die from respiratory paralysis within two to three hours, according to the USDA.

Signs an animal has ingested the plant include trembling, salivation and frothing, lack of coordination, dilated pupils, rapid pulse and convulsions.

How to remove the plant from your property
State law mandates that property owners cut or destroy prohibited noxious weeds, including poison hemlock.

Small infestations of poison hemlock can be removed by hand. It is strongly recommended that hands are protected with gloves, arms are protected with long sleeves and eyes are protected with safety goggles, according to Ohio State University. Plants should be dug out, with the entire root removed. The plants should then be placed in a plastic bag in the trash.

Herbicides are likely the safest option for removal. The non-native weed is susceptible to a wide range of herbicides Crossbow and Remedy Ultra has the best rating for controlling poison hemlock, followed by glyphosate (Roundup), dicamba and Cimarron Max, according to OSU.
