This isn't really good news. It's literally a stated strategy to intentionally lose so they can appeal to SCOTUS faster. This technically helps delay some bullshit temporarily but the overall goal of getting to SCOTUS ASAP hasn't really changed.

You act as if the SCOTUS takes up every case. And if they want to throw something out, I'd rather them put their name on it, rather than some rogue Republic theocrat in Texas.

Huge turn coming in. Republicans can no longer use a far right judge to eradicate policy or create policy.

They've constantly been going to Amarillo and filing lawsuits since there's only one federal judge for the district, he gets to change US Law. He's the same piece of shit who ultimately banned abortion pills nation wide. It's a bullshit system time and time again abused by Republicans like Ken Paxton when suing Biden or the US Government.

Stripping that away doesn't completely stop Republican horse shit, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.

uh, restaurants already do schedule more people for busier times. there's no way you're going into a busy fast food restaurant during lunch and they only have 3-4 people working like they do during slower times. but because of labor laws they can't hire people just to work from 11-2, so they have to give them full shifts in which they're not really needed for the other 4-6 hours
