I do work in all 50 states. Swing states are way more red than you may think. Many Trump voters are loud and there are many who are quiet. People have migrated as well. Blue voters are likely to not be registered in states they've moved to. That's going to impact this election a lot I think people who moved to other states for economic and political reasons will want to vote but won't be able to

Even if Republicans candidates won just 47% of the statewide vote and Democrat won 52%, that particular analysis shows, Republicans would likely win 10 of the 14 Congressional districts as well as legislative majorities, too, because of the way the maps are drawn.

If Biden wins in November, and Dems retain control of the Senate and take back the House, breaking the filibuster to pass a new voting rights act should be done. If not, states will continue to gerrymander the fuck out of their states, eliminating the need to vote at all.

If that's not worth breaking the filibuster over, then what is?

You simply can't wait decades until Dems get the majority in the SCOTUS.

I honestly don't think it matters. Federal jurisdiction supersedes state. So Idaho can say whatever they want, the feds have the final say.

It's also why those racist shithead former cops were charged with a hate crime, even though Georgia at the time didn't have it. Feds stepped in when the state refused to.
