No. I mean I'm much better about it than when I was a kid/teen since I've found a way to relax myself so I don't tense up and make the pain worse, but I still don't enjoy it.

I had no expectations for this series, but it looked good from the 2 trailers. Still going to keep low expectations since a 2-3 minute trailer can hide bad writing, but I'm intrigued and will check it out.

Damn. I may not always have agreed with some of the creative decisions he took, specifically in regards to Dragon Ball, but you can't deny he hasn't been one of the most influential creators in the anime/manga industry. RIP

This is not what I expected and is tragic.

What i do wonder is what happens to his other ongoing projects like Dragon Ball Super and the upcoming Dragon Quest games. If it is like Berserk, either someone has a script for if something happened to him or he has someone who can take his place easily. Dragon Quest may be a bit difficult depending how far along 12 is in.

We wouldn't have a lot of anime or even games without his work influencing others.

IDK what the future holds as far as the Dragon Ball anime and movies go, but I would assume he set it up so that the guy who has been doing the manga can keep doing it given their close ties with each other.

Baldur's Gate 3: You're punished pretty heavily by making the evil choices, especially in regards to gear. You get locked out of some top tier gear if you make certain obvious evil choices.

Super Metroid: Maridia can be a real slog to go through when you don't know where to go.

Yes, as the 1st one was one of my favorite games during the 360/PS3/Wii era. Though it probably won't be a day 1 buy since I'm in the middle of a FF7 marathon (going through most of the games aside from Dirge of Cerberus, which i might just watch a cutscene video of), and I'm definitely not going to be done with it by the time DD2 comes out.

Once the John Stewart version of Green Lantern was revealed, they would all throw a hissy fit over GL being a black man now instead of a white man. Probably goes for any other Marvel/DC hero that was originally a white guy but got changed to being a different race. Even if it was just a case of a different character taking up the mantle.

Same here. I stopped going when the food I would usually get for about $8.50 jumped up to $13.

I can't remember if it worked that way in 1, but I know in 2 onward you could farm bosses and uniquely named enemies for their specific legendary gear drops (or even just XP) by exiting out to the start screen. Though probably not something to concern yourself with until you're close to a max level.

Is it worth going through Crisis Core before doing Remake/Rebirth? Just went through the original FF7 and was planning on skipping CC, but since Zack showed up a few times in trailers for Rebirth I was wondering if it would be a mistake to do so.

Just beat 7 earlier tonight. Even taking the times it was released into consideration, I can't say I see why it was considered one of the GOAT games, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless.

Haven't been following DBS. Can Black Frieza beat up Buu? They were still treating Buu like he's extremely OP last time I checked.

Black Frieza 1 shot the main antagonist of the Heater arc then proceeded to knock out both UI Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta (his equivalent of UI) at the same time with 1 hit, so yeah he'd effortlessly stomp Buu.

Not the biggest jumps, but I'd give honorable mentions to Assassin's Creed 1 ---> AC2, Tekken 2 ---> T3, and Soul Blade/Edge ---> Soul Calibur.

But yeah, SF1 ---> SF2 would probably be my pick.

Which I had planned on having beaten both before Rebirth came out, but Baldur's Gate 3 ended up absorbing all of my gaming time for the past 3 months lol.

I don't think the Rock from the past 10 years or so would have taken that role if offered today.

The Wendy's by me is overpriced as it is now. I already don't eat there for lunch anymore, but this would ensure that it would never be an option I'd even give slight consideration for.

Gortash was harder than he needed to be because my Hunger of Hadar + Plant Growth strategy didn't work as effectively as I thought it would. I had planned to use it to slow him down long enough for me to take out most of the other guards, but one of their fire bombs managed to barely catch the edge of PG, then Gortash was able to jump out of HoH from about halfway in. He then immediately went into his Avatar of Bane form, and because I didn't know what his clones did, I made the mistake of attacking them for 1 turn instead of going all in against him. Still managed to take him out, but I made enough mistakes in that battle to make it harder than it needed to be.

As for Raphael, it was also made harder than it needed to be because of Yurgir. I had olanned to use the same trick I used on my Tactician run of using Wall of Stone to cut him off while I take out the cambions and using one of my summons to bait him into attacking them in one of the back corners. But Yurgir (who was on my side) decided to end his turn right in the middle of where the wall was supposed to be, forcing me to have to put if forward a little which left enough of a gap for Raphael to attack part of my party that was on the side. Then he decided to use his shotgun blast attack against a lone enemy, taking out a large chunk of the wall. Managed to win after I was able to land a Tasha's Hideous Laughter on Raphael to give me time to finish off the cambions.

Orin ended up being pretty easy for me because of all the stun sources I had. Between an Air Myrmidon summon, Jaheira wild shaped into an Air Myrmidon herself, and stunning strike from monk Karlach, I was able to keep her stunned the whole time after her 1st turn. And with all the attacks I had + magic missle from Shadowheart, getting through her unstoppable stacks was easy.

I'm nearing the end of my run (just have the final run and boss left). It actually hasn't been that bad this run. Act 1 and the early part of Act 2 were a bit tough, but getting free turns in most of the fights thanks to Shovel's invisibility and Hunger of Hadar being ridiculously strong made it manageable.

Act 3 has been a cakewalk for the most part. Only bosses that gave me some trouble was Gortash and Raphael. I also made the decision to skip Ansur, as I didn't need any of the items for the builds I was running so I didn't feel like it was worth the effort. I am a bit worried about the Netherbrain after reading up on some of the honor mode changes about the fight.

It's on my backlog, so I plan on playing it eventually. I'm probably just going to wait for the complete version of it or whatever because that backlog is quite large, with a few games that are probably going to take me a while to beat (P3R itself, OG FF7 that I never played before, the FF7 remakes, and Dragon's Dogma 2), so I figure I might as well just wait.

Jack Black as Claptrap is fine. Everyone else though....yeah.

- I love Cate Blanchett, but she's too old to be playing Lilith (Jamie Lee Curtis is also too old to be Tannis).
- To his credit, it seems Kevin Hart is trying to play the straight man this time, but it's impossible to not see him as Kevin Hart (not to mention Roland is supposed to be a pretty big and beefy guy, and Kevin is the complete opposite of that lol).
- No opinions on Tiny Tina's actress as I don't really know her, but they seemed to have toned down her craziness here so it seems really off.

Another reason to avoid Florida.
