The Texas GOP have already managed to end gender affirming care for minors. Its hurting real people. They will not stop there and are coming for adults.

Gov Abbott appreciates people like you who help enable him with this sort of defense for his genocidal rhetoric, and this applies for other people defending similar rhetoric from other politicians.

Conservatives have clearly been outlining a national plan to enact genocide for years and have been making progress. This is part of that plan and their hateful ideology.

It wont end with trans people either, because they want to go after the whole LGBT+ community, and other minorities as well.

Downplaying this genocidal rhetoric and dismissing the proper context as not accurate is where you fail to maintain integrity here and fail to be an effective ally to the LGBT+ community.

The President has power to issue pardons but there is not specific language that exists stating a sitting President is allowed to pardon themselves. In theory it should not be permitted, but as previously stated no one has attempted it yet or been challenged in court.

I was also aware the teacher in question is not a woman, and is a man who cross dressed in a specific context for a day other people were dressing up (and he was supported by his students.) It is Abbott who uses this incident to make it seem like something it was not to attack GNC people and trans people (and Libs of TikTok et al.)

Neither the topic title or article are incorrect, however, you are incorrect here. Abbott does not support trans people and considers women who are trans to be a man in a dress. He does not distinguish between trans and GNC behavior, as a conservative politician, and this is an attack on trans rights.

From my understanding, everyone is born with hair follicles under their face's skin which can later become facial hair when exposed to enough testosterone for long enough. Currently, it's not possible to remove these hair follicles before they've become facial hair.

For my theoretical, let's say it was possible to remove these hair follicles prior to puberty via some new procedure. Let's also assume that this procedure is easier or safer or something to use on infants than on adults for whatever reason. But it's still possible for adults to use this new procedure, laser hair removal, and/or electrolysis to remove their facial hair.

In this hypothetical scenario, would it be ethical for parents to use this procedure on their male children to prevent them from growing facial hair? I was responding to what you stated earlier, that it is easier for her to date the other man compared to dating you not being easy for her.

If you were meant to be, in love, dating you should be easier than the other guy, not more difficult. Thats including the stated relationship goals where the younger guy just wants to sleep around with no commitment. Relationships are about how two people gel together at the end of the day, other considerations not withstanding.

Needs comprehensive care, not punishment.

Sounds like you two are not meant to be if being in a relationship with you is a chore or hardship in comparison to dating someone else. That has nothing to do with wanting to get married one day as a relationship goal, or shouldnt. Thats not to say a relationship is always easy breezy, but speaking generally on the whole relationship and how one feels about it when standing back.

Im not going to bring up the other stuff you mentioned to stand in judgement, youve mentioned self reflecting on the things about punishing her or expecting her to behave a certain way to earn your approval.

It began with children, where Texas made it illegal for medical providers to give gender affirming care to minors the past few years.

The issue I have with this while situation is that first people accused the US version of "censorship" and complained how the game was inaccurate, and then when it was revealed why the potentially offensive thing was changed, suddenly people jumped on another camp to try to complain. Localization changes things all the time when it doesn't make sense to other cultures.

Im not pushing anything, it is transphobic period (speaking about different tropes.) Ive seen these BS defenses played out time and time again with certain segments of anime and manga fans, where ideologues are more interested in protecting their hobby than acknowledging problematic elements for what they are.

It is absolutely fucked and doomed to fail, because you cannot implement that sort of policy without oppressing vulnerable and marginalized minority groups. You cant have your cake and eat it, too.
