like, the "evil" Miles' universe doesn't have a Spider-Man, and that's why many believe his universe took a darker turn.

I think it's likely he was supposed to be the one to become Spider-Man, since the Miles we know comes from a universe that all already had one.

Iirc he got his degree to appease his father and regardless of what he did his dad was never happy with him. When he got into MIT his dad was like "okay well *insert school* is better" so then he pursued acting to spite him in a way.

I've always been kind of fascinated by him after finding out he had a master's in chemical engineering, and that he dropped out of MIT to pursue acting

I'm not a parent (I doubt I'll ever be one), but my parents used to deny me some privileges when I acted up, and let me know why so they didn't come off as assholes/what I had done wrong (when I was young enough).

as I got older, they also gave me some responsibilities, so that I was contributing/taking away from the family when I did good or bad things.

even with TLoU2 backlash (I think it's a great game, FWIW), I feel like most gamers are at least open to a queer lead; but I'm not sure if it's equal (like queer feminine lead vs masculine feminine lead).

for most of the detractors/people against the game, it was the story they had issue with, and a vocal minority who was bigoted.

but for the most part, I feel like developers, when they try to have LGBTQ+ presentation, they kind of just "flirt" with it, with female characters sometimes giving potential bi vibes without going beyond that.

hopefully we'll one day see a major title with a gay, male protagonist, and have it do well.

for me, rap is still my favorite genre, but the older I get, I prefer stuff that makes me feel over clever rhymes.

Cuff is by far the best-written character in the game and it's not even a close contest.

(in the sense of "best of a lot of bad", anyway)

I still hold that if you cut out the entire New York/Stranger in a Strange Land introductory sequence the game would've just...been there

but that's what "justified" the goofy dialogue!

but for real, I think the clasp had worse dialogue than the lead, from what I've heard, so far.
