Uh that's not the balancing convention for this move. Freeze Dry was made to hit super effective against water types because ice type moves should have been super effective against them in the first place. A electric move hitting ground types for super effective makes no sense period.

They got abilities that let you punch ghosts who cares if it makes sense. You can KO a non-tangible Gastly with a well placed Low Kick in this game. Gastly has to go to the Pokemon Centre to get his shins repaired after the battle.

All electric's gotta do is aim for the horn.

I love it. I think it's a really daunting omen of what might be to come.
I can't wait for the electric move that destroys Ground times.

Hey, that final boss fight was the best part.
I wish more games had it in them to pull out a final fight like that.

Dumb question. What happens if I try to make an Exile that can't fight very well?
Sometimes in New Vegas I like to make a character and put all my points into non-combat skills then have ED "Eduardo" -E and Boone fight enemies for me.

I'm thinking Hanharr is strong enough to play most of the game for me, but there's a few points where my character is on his own. Is this a horrible idea or could I still get by using buffs, shields and items?
I want to try a run with a character that can bulldoze any speech check and repair everything easily.

Do you think people call the game help hotline and ask shit like "How do I do Mysterious Hotel Delfino?" "How do I get through the big dumb crystal maze on FF12?"

Maybe Sephiroth could discover the organisation exists and become really insecure because he's just found out there's a whole bunch of guys who are way better at talking about DARKNESS than he is.

He could challenge Sora to a fight as a way regain his confidence, but get stomped.

It's a Dark Side thing, I don't remember the exact steps but it does something like -2 Int +2 Str.

You can repeat it until his Int drops below 0 and it wraps back around to the maximum.

My character is a dark side character.
I've been building rep with him because you build it by asserting how strong and nefarious you are to him. Was I actually supposed to try and have as little rep as possible with him for the bonus?

It says there's something for breaking Hanharr's spirit however you do this. I've found a conversation chain where you can promise to not dishonor him and get +1 constitution out of it, but that seems like the opposite.

As for GOTO, I'm not sure what to do. Maybe I've done things in the wrong order and recruited him after all the good opportunities to build rep with him were expired.
Korriban, the second Onderon visit and the ending are all that's left. Fingers crossed Onderon pulls through because I doubt he's gonna care about the Sith academy or the apathy is death cave.

It's a funny game, I should go back to it some time.

I spent a while filling my deck with 6, 8, 10, Kings and Queens. I forget the intricacies but that was the strat.

I looked at the achievement list earlier and it's got one for playing Pazaak honestly and one for convincing the champ to throw the game. I'd use this as my to-do list, but it only accounts for things you can do in the base game and not the restoration.

LARPing as Ardanian Soldiers was the right call.
Atton yelling MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM three times in a row would be right at home in Xenoblade 2.

Have you visited the temple of Ludo Kressh on Korriban?

Did you help Geeda (the rodian trader on Nar Shaddaa) establish new trade routes?

Were you able to beat everyone at the Pazaak Den (by actually playing Pazaak with them)?

I did the APATHY IS DEATH cave a bunch of times, enemies don't respawn in this game so I started taking all the EXP I could get.

I did do that trade route quest a couple of times, there was a rival trader who I don't think I ever sided with though.

I never chanced it with Pazaak, reminded me too much of Caravan in New Vegas which took too much preparation and offered too little. That bit in brackets makes it sound like you can sabotage the game or make the others quit though. That's interesting.

At the start of Jak 2, they did science where they filled him with Dark Eco and it made him flip out. Maybe it's that.

Restored Content Mod, or no?

Yep, I have the restoration and a skip Peragus mod.

I don't feel I'd be missing out on anything.

It's been about a year since I first played and I'm thinking of revisiting KOTOR 2. I liked the game. I played it a lot in a short time though so I got burned out having to run laps of Telos and Nar Shadda.

What are some cool things I might have missed?
The main one right now is that I barely interacted with GOTO so I want to try levelling him and finding his quest. I was also thinking of trying to make a heavily armored blaster team with minimal force reliance.

-Valve fixes TF2. To make up for the years of doom and gloom we get multi-day updates like we used to and the last issue of the comic.
-Xenoblade 2 Definitive Edition with DON'T FORGET ME THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME restored to its former glory.
-Next Nintendo console will be good. Backward compatibility, free online, reasonable price, built in Gamecube controller slot.
-Demon's Souls (Non-remake version) added to PC with an option on the title screen to disable online interactions.
-Not E3 will be really funny this year. They even announce a good video game or two.
-Silent Hill 2 remake will play exactly like God Hand.
-Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DELUXE. There are still tracks that aren't in the game, this must be amended.
-Blockbuster returns.

If you're so smart, how come Hit and Run broke you?

I'm doing that thing again where I stare at Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines, read some reviews, watch some gameplay, think "Wow, this seems pretty good in a Fallout New Vegas kind of way." then end up not buying it.

Fallout New Vegas is probably the best game I still play from time to time so that's my current starting point.

Most people tend to ignore bullshit difficulty levels. I beat DMC 1 on Dante Must Die, but some of the newer games have like Hell and Hell, where the enemies are harder than Dante Must Die and if you get hit once, you die. Thats just masochism.

DMC1's DMD is tougher than the 4 or 5 on Hell and Hell.
See in 4 and 5 you have way more options and in 5 especially the enemies are incapable of fighting back. Plus you unlock Hell and Hell after beating DMD which also unlocks the infinite DT costumes.

I'm guessing you didn't give Hell and Hell a try because if you did you'd know that each time you start a mission you get three gold orbs next to your health bar for free.

Donte made me laugh more than DMC5 Dante for what it's worth.

I just had a run in with a Shedinja using Sand Attack. I won but it took too many turns and also I'd forgotten to turn battle scene off so it took even longer. I'm having fun so far but I know I'm going to be at the mercy of stuff like this, Brightpowder and Double Team.

I'd forgotten they let you bring some of the weaker legendaries. I know I have some legendary trios lying around. If Togekiss doesn't cut it I'd be down to try Zapdos too.
I think I took the Mudkip from Steven on this file way back. Swampert's probably worth considering.

I've rounded up some contenders.
Salamence, Togekiss, Gengar. Two special attackers and critically acclaimed enemy of the people circa 2008 Salamence.
Salamence has Dragon Claw which should probably be swapped for Outrage... However you do that in this game.

There's a Garchomp here but it's max attack + scarf and I should have gone max speed + band.
I've also found a lv1 modest Rotom Wash from 2010 in the PC which might be worth training 14 years later.

Every character should have a verbal tick.
There should be an American character who calls potato chips crisps.
Another character should do the Dr Wily eyebrow thing a lot.

How bad is the gen 4 Battle Frontier? Specifically HGSS if that changes anything.
I found some old online-ready Pokemon and am considering giving it go.

I just looked up the last rival fight in HGSS to check something and he legit has a Sneasel.
Surely you'd have the national dex by that point?
And he was able to find someone to trade-evo Gengar and Alakazam but he couldn't get a Weavile?

Is the gen 2 rival just canonically not very good at this game?

Tauros on its own has it pretty good. You just hit them to weaken them then get a kill with physical hyper beam + no recharge because it's gen 1.
