Youtube has quite aggressively moved away from supporting good creators and fun content and more towards advertiser friendly, sponsor friendly, ad-first, content brain melt first.

Seems like the idea of having a bunch of subscribers you like and having those videos pop up first is antithetical to their plan.

I'm not entirely sure why this bothers me so much (other than standard issue pinky being unreasonably annoyed about trivial thing), but I guess it just represents a shift away from an era that seemed a lot...simpler? Like ok, maybe the humour is crass and the skits get old and stuff, but also look at these recent brainrot title cards.

Also his show just reminds me of what it used to be like with a bunch of bros playing games and being dorks and those days feel long behind me.

Oh, recipe -

Steam fish on a bed of ginger in water for 7 or so minutes. Remove from ginger, pour over mixture of shoaxing wine, soy sauce and sugar. Before serving, lay spring onions on top and pour hot sesame oil (optionally peanuts too).

Dunno if I did that right but it was pretty good.

That and them nerfing stuff into the ground early on really soured the game for me. Like they couldnt just give things a slight nerf to try to put them more in line with the non-broken but still good stuff, they had to go nerf them into the ground. And IIRC, the early buffs theyd give would give out often felt like they werent enough to make the buffed weapon feel viable on the hardest difficulty.

I know theyve gotten a lot better with both aspects since then, but those 1st few months it was very frustrating.

I haven't tried it in years, but when I played it I got the sense that legendary drops are basically just decent weapons with some weird effect.

I'm playing a necromancer half elf wizard (circumcised pee pee, hairless), she's playing a ranger beastmaster (didn't check her genitals).

I've never played DnD so I'm surprised at how fun the dice roll mechanic is. Like you make a plan to do something and then it all goes to shit, it's very funny every time.

We disagree on Astarion, I find him intriguing and she immediately hates him, so I'm not sure he's going to be in our party.

I think I want to put points into some kind of charisma/persuasion ability because I can foresee that being a problem later on.

Everyone's complaining about the BL3 plot but that wasn't the issue to me. The issue was the overwhelmingly abundant amount of legendary drops. It genuinely ruined the game for me.

Like the entire point of these diablo style loot systems (to me, at least) is the tantalising promise of some rare drop that you keep chasing. You don't just get them at the start of the game, and you need to do something big even then.

Resting every other day is better, but training 3 days in a row is better than missing a day because it doesn't fit your schedule. For most people rest days are unnecessary, other than their psychological benefit.

I think a lot of people have never been good at anything at all in life, so when they managed to be good at this one thing they might be inclined to gatekeep it. To them its not just enjoying a videogame, its validation that they're worth something.

I had my cackles raised against this dude for the longest time cause the only time I would see him criticizing someone for being an asshole in a gym he was always taking shots at female influencers. I played through for a while with a friend and couldnt really figure out what exactly was missing, other than a total lack of...fun? Like I just couldn't really get into the gameplay loop. It felt dreary, like I was punching numbers into an excel sheet.

The sound is consistent with what's happening on screen, but its unintelligible. I.e. if a character on screen says "Hey, john, come here" then what I hear is a garbled "scchhfr, gsch, sjjsjcs sjcsjcs"

* Are you using native apps, or are you on the websites? If the latter, which browsers have you tried?

Native spotify app, crunchyroll on browser. I've tested crunchyroll on firefox, chrome and incognito - all same behaviour.

Behaviour:

• Playing youtube - audio is fine
• Playing Netflix - audio is fine
• Playing crunchyroll - audio is basically Compressed Robotic Static (gonna abbreviate this to CRS)
• Playing spotify - CRS, intermittently
• playing youtube/Netflix while crunchyroll/spotify is open but paused - CRS
• Audio on other devices - laptop, PS4, Nintendo switch - audio is fine.

What I've tried:

• Downloaded and reinstalled audio drivers and restarted
• Changed audio sample rate (mostly just made it worse)
• Turned on/off audio enhancements
• Changed default audio devices
• Turned on/off exclusive mode

What my setup is:

• speakers plugged into monitor with 3.5mil jack.
• Monitor plugged into KVM switch.
• KVM switch plugged into PC.

I want to guess it's some weird combo of the specific hardware I've got going on here, but it's hard to say when it literally only happens with certain apps.
