I never done it, but I have 4 friends who are or were forklift drivers and they all said it's an easy as shit job to do. Most likely the pay wasn't good enough or he wasn't enjoying it all too much.

It can get stressful in some places, especially in shipping and receiving. Some drivers have more work to do than hours in the day and have to drive pedal to the metal all day long to not get buried. That's not a good environment for a beginner.

Chances are though, he hit something bad and quit rather than face the consequences. I'm not familiar with this particular person in the slightest, just something I've seen happen in other places.

To be fair, the way he described it does sound like a pretty half-assed way to deliver someone an important, official legal document. It at least should be in good shape and should be made clear what he's being handed, he made it sound like it was practically like passing a note in class without trying to get caught.

Yea, no problems with any peeing or pooping issues. You will never have any diseases related to it or desire to pee/poop.

If you had said that from the beginning, that makes this a more interesting choice, especially for people with a history of colon or bladder cancer, they can instantly eliminate their biggest potential cause of premature death from a disease that can have lasting impacts on your life if you survive it.

Reading is like the only really good one

For most people, it'll only ever enable them to read ALL the social media, they would need to be able to actually do something with all that information, and anybody who's ever tried cramming for an exam knows you can totally overwhelm yourself. The ability doesn't change your mental acuity or memory at all, so you can read all the books in one day but good luck remembering it all properly. Going too hard could really turn your head into a jumble of unconnected trivia as you struggle to remember the important things you need.

There's also the fact that most people are not intellectuals, so if they're lacking in critical thinking and reading comprehension skills, they could just end up going down some weird internet conspiracy theory rabbit hole or something and fill their head with nonsense and go crazy. At least with that one, most of the worst garbage seems to be youtube videos and not written because it's marketed to an audience that doesn't read. Everyone with internet access already has the world's knowledge at their fingertips at any time they want to look it up, and the vast majority of people already do not utilize it for anything useful.

Unless you're already the type of person who spends a significant amount of time researching a particular topic, this is not an ability that will have a noticeable positive impact on your life.

Flying would be fun, but it uses up as much of your stamina as full sprinting. You wouldn't be able to fly for long with that.

With that limitation, it's functionally little better than the teleportation option, because if it's not within line of sight you probably won't have the stamina to fly to it. Teleportation would get you to higher places unless you put a lot of training in, without the danger of getting too tired before reaching safety so you don't become a modern version of the flight of Icarus.

Teleportation could easily save your life, and the ability to bypass all kinds of obstacles and difficult terrain has tons of uses.

I like a very wide variety of music. They come from an era of music that I love. But they are one of the few bands I absolutely just can't stand and will never understand how they have such a devoted group of fans. The "Kiss Army" I will never understand.

I understand music is subjective and varies from person to person so much but yeah I will never like Kiss.

It's because they put on a great live show with high production values. Kiss, along with Alice Cooper and Pink Floyd, really raised the bar on live musical performances in the 70s, with the costumes, set pieces, lighting, pyrotechnics, etc. Sure, they're a little campy and cheesy, but that's all part of the fun, and they are a tight, very well rehearsed band live.

I used to know a guy who would legitimately think that was undercooked and would refuse to eat it unless you put it back on the grill.

He once grilled up some burgers and some chicken breasts at the same time. His mother wasn't wearing her glasses, and she couldn't tell the difference between the two on the plate. I tried eating one of the chicken breasts, it was burnt almost into charcoal, I couldn't do it.

Every adult should be able to have their own house. Maybe not necessarily a big house, but a roof over their head and a little lawn to mow should be affordable for everyone, and the fact it isn't where I live is why I'm planning to move somewhere with much cheaper property. I work in a factory full-time and I don't even make enough to afford a bachelor apartment and a car, and my company is likely doing layoffs in the near future. I'm gonna start with something like a shipping container home with solar panels on it and work my way up from there.

Not nearly as bad for morale as the bad managers who keep meddling in everything and making it worse. I can respect a boss who backs off and lets me handle my job on my own, considering that's what they pay me for.
