I'm pretty sure that isn't real, or it's modded. Bass's toughest form in MMBN6 is Bass BX, not Sigma, whatever that's supposed to be (I should know; I've been stuck on him for a year, and it's loaded on my phone right now). The game isn't that crazy.

And you shouldn't be able to shuffle more than once per turn.

No. If you want the achievement for having every weapon/armor you might want to keep them around to see what you've missed, but you're not getting that achievement without a guide anyway.

Yeah I blind play RPGs it's a gripe of mine that most of them do the inevitable, oh ho, but you didn't talk to the blind man three towns back for an entirely op weapon and skippable quest available only between point x and y that are separated only by five minutes worth of gameplay.

...and then if you do it via a walkthrough you get spoilered to hell regardless of how well someone tries to hide stuff.

Anyway rant aside, I can already tell this game follows that formula just by how brazenly it bodied me for opening a chest. So I'll just muddle along regardless.

yep. The advice I was given when I started this game was to talk to every body twice, then again with any plot progress, and I still missed some stuff. None of the optional stuff is a big deal; don't worry about it. If you want, just grab it on the second playthrough.

There's a feature called "retry offset", which is enabled by default, that makes fights easier the more often you retry.

I just hit run the second I retried moved on and will come back later, I'll be saving before opening chests from now on, that was kinda bs.

oh, and, definitely mix them. Hard liquor by itself is a bit rough when you're starting out. Anything stronger than wine is probably going to annoy you with the sensation and taste of alcohol more than the enjoyment of the spirits.

I prefer hard alcohol as the quickest way to get drunk because the higher concentration of alcohol means you need less liquid to get drunk.

...Ok, I'll admit it, I burst out laughing when I saw that Papa was riding the fucking dragon, because of course he is.

holy shit the game is over. I don't think I've ready for this. I think I'm going to give it a few years before a replay of the serious, in an attempt to at least recapture some of the original magic. Of course, there's always the Third, which I'll get as soon as I can afford it. I'll have to let it sit for a little while, but I think Trails in the Sky has surpassed Final Fantasy X as my favorite RPG and as one of my favorite games.
