I don't see what you're getting at. AT is wacky and unrealistic, but that's not bad. It's not inherently better or worse than HA because of the huge differences in settings. Ultimately AT does a lot more with its world, and has actual continuity. someone said it before, but HA would CONSTANTLY return to the status quo, so relationships formed in episodes wouldn't have any sort of impact later on. Remember the time Helga and her sister came to an understanding about appreciating what they have, and realizing that the grass is always greener on the other side and neither one of them is treated properly by their parents? They sure don't. And Helga continues to dispose her sister for every future episode. That sort of thing makes a show more... meh. I guess answered questions from other people? But they didn't do it in character but as themselves with a picture of their character giving the emotion they intended with their message. Mod silver was a crybaby, Mod Amy was a bitch and Mod Sonic was a dictator and clearly the leader of the pack. Apparently Silver didn't answer any asks, and Amy kicked him out, and this eventually spiraled into all but two of the mods getting kicked out, a previously gay mod admitting that he's been cybering with a female mod, and spilled Capri sun packages. Among many, MANY other things. The Vice principal apparently wouldn't hear him out and left threatening voicemail messages saying that she'd arrange to have his final paper not get graded, holding him back. A (white) girl who got caught buying drugs on campus is allowed to walk because she finished night classes. To put it in perspective, when my sister was at that same high school her (black) friend got caught with a medicine bottle. He got kicked out, went to night school, and wasn't allowed to walk for graduation. Either way, I'm sensing some SERIOUS legal trouble for both the school and the VP.
