Our college has 3 ceremonies in the spring cause of the sheer amount of people. Split up by colleges. If I go to it, I'd most likely stay from start to finish. Kind of rude to leave early or show up super late to them tbh, unless there's a legitimate reason (emergency, crying kid, etc)

I don't see why it's unrealistic. It's catching on with the casuals as a bunch of retailers are saying that they're seeing types other than the regular Nintendo fan buying it, and we have all these anecdotal comments about people who haven't played Nintendo systems in a long time buying it. It has the momentum and Nintendo just needs to capitalize and keep the ball rolling. They have Splatoon coming and Pokemon in the horizon and with big 3rd party support (Western in conjunction with what they got with the 3DS) they can make it happen.

I still hear people talking about buying TWEWY, especially when it goes on sale on Square's website, even though it released almost 10 years ago.

I'd have all the time in the world with that button. I procrastinate so much on practicing my coding, and reading books that this would be godsend. I waste so much money on food that I regret buying and savoring when I could have a considerably cheaper and less satisfying meal that isn't hampered by the guilt that I wasn't spending valuable money. With the button, I can blow cash on local high class restaurants and get my money back while retaining the experience. And if I wanted to try something out, I could try it at midnight and have quick experiments without waiting an entire day.

That's fine, you have another 1000 hours to play anyway. But once you get the hang of guard points, you'll have effectively rendered the Switch Axe and Hammer obsolete, hence why it was rightfully nerfed to oblivion in Generations.

Go into a large area with no monsters just to play with the camera to look at the moves of the CB; pay attention to any moves that involve putting the sword into the shield. Guard points have small tells, where the middle of the shield gives off a small electric spark. The easiest way to see this is to look at the difference between X+R (the guard point lemur mentioned) and R+X (the regular transition).

Don't get me wrong, it's not easy to learn, but you usually play this game for a long time, so you have time to learn.

And if you dabble with the IG again, you have to learn to use the kinsect to get the head for free Red. That is not just helpful, it is a requirement. It's like going with a Bow with no coatings, or a LBG without any decent bullets, or a CB without going into axe mode.

When I first picked up the Bow, I nearly got killed by a couple of jaggis. Yes, you read that right. Jaggis.

When you shoot, make sure you're a specific distance away so that the screen shakes upon impact, that's the critical distance. And you might as well start practicing from now to aim for the head or specific spots on the monsters, that's another major source of the Bow's strength.

4U's tutorial was safe. After they teach to make a Mega Potion and grill a steak (which are some pretty darn necessary tutorials), it's full speed ahead.

Now Generation had some egregious pacing in the beginning. "Go collect some mushrooms" "Now some herbs" "Oh and a few more mushrooms!" "Oh, tired of being a Mushroom Hunter? Okay fine here's this large monster quest" "Too easy for you? Great! Now collect 20 fucking more mushrooms but despair not! You will become a monster hunter and hunt cool monsters... some day".
