It looks like the M or D series is in your price range. I have a Vizio TV I got around 10 years ago, still works great although there are some black bumps starting to show up around the top, probably because it is a liquid crystal. Still, would highly recommend them, they are a good budget brand.

Yeah, the 37" is a Vizio. Kind of was hoping to be able to get a good brand like LG or Samsung, but I prolly need to put off on getting a TV for one of those. Thanks for the input, I'll most likely settle for a Vizio.

We have an old 37" TV that we're going to put into our room, but we want to outdo my fiance's brother(he has a 60" 4K) for our living room(my fiance and her sister in law has some sort of weird rivalry going on). I make pretty good money at my job, but I'm sure baby costs are going to be high, so don't want to spend too much money on it.(also gotta get a PS4pro and a PSVR set, so gotta budget correctly)

Rogue One is a mess. The characters are bland. The settings are bland except for the final planet. I think people got massive boners over Rogue One mainly because it showed us great potential for what a Star Wars movie could contain in terms of fanservice. However, the movie was very uneven with a massively underpowered first half and a pretty second half in terms of visuals. However, the crux of the film, the characters itself, were not fleshed out enough for me to care about their ultimate fate. I still don't even know all of their names.

Is Donnie Yen's char any good at least?

Water doesn't hydrate much if you don't have the electrolytes in your system though. There's a reason why we(Combat Medics) gave out hydration salts to severely dehydrated patients. One 8oz bottle of Gatorade/Powerade to 3 500ml bottles of water is the optimum hydrating combination.

That's not true anymore. With the addition of IVs, EVs, and the varied move pools, Pokemon is one of the most in-depth competitive game out there. Too bad they ruined it by adding goddamn Fairy types and refusing to use tiers.(Smogon already did all their work for them, and all they want to do is limit some Pokemon)

So I guess I'm pretty much limited to RPGs, huh? Been through Golden Sun 1&2 like a billion times, so don't recommend those. Are there any good SRPGs besides Fire Emblem(Sacred Stones sucks ass D:), Tactics Ogre and FFTA? I'm remembering that the Medabots RPG was pretty good, but I haven't played it since it first came out, so my memory on that game might be faulty.

IVs get rid of hangovers pretty much instantly. When I was in the barracks, I'd have people from my Battalion come knocking on my door on Sundays asking for IVs all the time. I eventually stopped answering the door because I kept getting yelled at for wasting my IV equipment unnecessarily.

14 is free up till level 35 on pc. you can transfer your character to ps4.

I unfortunately lost the PC in the separation. Going to either build another one this Cyber Monday, or might wait until next year if the furniture and the baby stuff end up costing too much.

Btw, how much is FFXIV going to cost me with all the expansions and stuff? Is there a cheap bundle, or is it better to make sure I like the game first and get the expansions one by one?

Even tho destiny 2 isn't out yet I can say with 100% confidence you will get so much more content out of ff xiv.

Doubly so if Destiny 2 repeats its predecessor so hard that, for every person who falls for it, "Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me" becomes all too true. Meanwhile ffxiv is constantly adding content every few months or so, even if the new content can be knocked out in a day or three (not counting luck-based drops). <_<

I just checked out the list, and there are quite a few games on there I've always wanted to play but didn't get to. Kind of sucks that the Xenosaga games aren't on there, I only got through half of the first game before my PS2 bit the bullet.

Eh... I wouldn't recommend that.

Uncharted 1-3 on PS3 had some pretty remarkably bad aiming/gunplay mechanics and other buggy annoyances... most of which were squashed with the Uncharted Collection on PS4

Oh, there's a collection of the first 3 games on the PS4? The system sounds better and better! I should've got a PS4 in the first place!

No, and for some reason even the digital versions only run on the PS3 afaik. It makes no sense...

That said, I'd go for PS4 because of the exclusives. I don't think the Pro/X are really worth it unless you have/plan on getting a 4K TV and the graphics difference is a big deal for you. I know for the PS4 at least it's really easy to upgrade the hard drive yourself or use an external drive.

In terms of games, Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn are phenomenal. I'd also recommend Until Dawn which is like a choose your own adventure horror game, it's actually the free PS+ game for this month as well but totally worth the $5-10 it sells for these days otherwise.

I've always wanted to get into the Uncharted games(only one I played is the crappy Vita game), so that's something I should check out. Should I get 1-3 first for the PS3? I still have the thing(mostly to play PS1 games), so that wouldn't be a problem. I've heard good things about the Horizon game, and as for Until Dawn, I beat it on my ex-brother-in-law's PS4. I really liked it, but it doesn't really seem like a game I would want to go through again.

I'm gonna highly recommend King of Fighters XIV.

In all the SFV madness, an incredibly solid fighter that SNK actively cared about polishing with significant updates/upgrades flew under the radar. I'll admit I've always been biased towards KoF, but it's always been saddening that all the gamers furious over SFV didn't take a look at KoFXIV because it's incredible.

I've been waiting for a good KoF game since XI(that was the good one for the PS2, right), so that's awesome that SNK finally made another good KoF game.

PS4 has Bloodborne and Nioh.

imho the Pro and the X aren't worth it. The "lesser" consoles play all the same games cheaper, and the Pro/X are only a marginal improvement at best. Maybe the framerate on the X is worth it to you, but I hear it's not going to be 60fps for very many games.

Bloodborne is the Dark Soulsish game, right? I could never get into those games. No idea what Nioh is. I kind of fell out of checking new releases and stuff a while ago, so I need to brush up on what games I should get.

What would you guys recommend if I got a PS4? Here are the ones I know I want:
Kingdom Hearts 2.8(or w/e stupid number they're using)
Persona 5
A Warriors game of some kind(do they have any Gundam ones for the PS4?)
Destiny(either 1 or 2, whichever one people recommend, heard 1 was great)

The advantages of the Xbone is that I had one before(lost it in the separation D:), so I have a bunch of games I could redownload for it. The advantage of the PS4 is that I never had one so more games I could try(mainly P5), and my girlfriend/fiance wants one.

Btw, when I get one of those systems, is it worth getting the upgraded systems? Only thing I really know is that the new versions are a TB, and they do 4k resolution. Any other upside?
