To answer the question, though, in my opinion I don't think it would be any issue at all. You might possibly encounter one or two people who will be critical and think only anime should be represented at an anime expo, but they would be the exception. In general I find the majority in these communities to be pretty accepting toward inclusion of anything which tends to have an overlapping fanbase. Do what you think makes sense and have fun.

People didn't give me any shit when I dressed as Naked Snake, but that was made by the Japanese so I guess it's more accepted.

It's what I was using when I was in the Army. I literally don't know how to properly aim or handle any other gun. I'm pretty good with the M4(shot Sharpshooter), so why get another gun I have to get good with again?

So? The M4 is the choice gun for the military because it's accurate at both short and long range, good indoors because of its size, and you can use it as a melee weapon easily without changing your grip on it. There's literally no other gun I'd rather have in any scenario other than a sniping match or having to mow down tons of people

Even if you're not skilled enough at operating a motor vehicle to get a CDL, there are plenty of other jobs: Hotshot(driving a regular pick up truck to the lease roads to deliver parts) @ 25k a year, Rastabout(building batteries and such) @65k a year, Well hands(working on the rigs and such) @65k a year, Dispatcher @58k a year, etc...

The pays aren't exact, but the oil field pays pretty well.

How long ago was that? I hear a lot of the oil jobs up in the Dakotas and Alberta are gone.

They are always hiring over here in Texas. Especially if you have a CDL, you'll never have trouble finding a job in the oil field.

Also, 25k is more than enough to live on in Texas.
