My issue isn't even that they refuse to publish info on the RNC (which is conjecture) it's more the info they have about Putin/Russia they bragged about having (yet after a very public threat by the FSB towards them then a few months of silence they awkwardly said they'd refuse to publish it)

And it's more of their editorializing and their seeming habit of publishing stuff selectively to paint a picture they want.

Case in point: The Mueller "leak" a while ago. WL publishes stuff that makes it seem like he trafficked uranium to Russia. Yet when you actually read everything in its proper order and context (which WL declined to give) you'd see he was authorized by the US gov.

I do love the Trumpers like Mal who get weirdly defensive over it.

Look, in my opinion, Trump is guilty. I am not a judge or a jury or an investigator.

From what we do know
A) His campaign did have links to Russia
B) Russia did influence the Trump campaign and therefore policy (eg. the weird seemingly random pro-Russia changes to the RNC platform)
C) His campaign staff also felt the need to lie about certain connections to Russia
D) Trump himself has been conducting himself in a way that would be quite... odd for someone who's done nothing wrong.

That's I guess my point. With the links we already know of, I keep asking myself a few questions.

If nothing bad happened, why do former campaign staff and administration officials insist on lying?

And if Trump himself did nothing wrong, why has he lied repeatedly, tried to discredit any potential investigation, fired the FBI Director who was investigating him, entertained firing the Special Counsel investigating him, and asking about pardoning himself and his family?


As I said, I'm not an investigator, not a jury. I just find all this rather hard to reconcile with "he's innocent and there's no collusion"

If you have an answer to these questions then I'd love to hear it. Because with all this, looking at it, all I end up at is "coverup"
