Ema's here, so you know that someone's been murdered. I would have found out sooner if the gang wasn't so preoccupied with a bookshelf when the has been clear signs of a struggle and the outline of a body on the floor. Yep, Archie died. It was ruled an accident, which we all know will swiftly change.

I am starting to warm up to Dhurke after he said that he's making Khura'in a better place through "volunteer work." I'm surprised that Ema through her time in Khura'in didn't at least recognize Dhurke's name. What the hell did she do in her off-hours? Knowing her, she probably collected fingerprints from everywhere and everything.

It's time for another info dump:
- Raincoat was recently worn
- Something is hanging from the ceiling and it CLEARLY isn't a bird (*coughApollocough*)
- Visitor's entrance to the house is on the second floor
- Library can be seen from outside
- Research notes labeled "21" contain info on the founder's orb and mention that only the first half of the Dance of Devotion is sung
- Urn with AMI is broken. I feel like that is a reference to an earlier case where Pearl broke it, but I'm not certain. Was it supposed to spell MIA?
- Locked suitcase from an overseas visitor. Fingerprint analysis says it belongs to Datz.
- Crime scene photo clearly shows it is a murder. The head wound on Archie does not match up to the location of the book that contains probably his blood and coffee.

1. I will always let anyone know if they suffered an injury that requires a roster move except for the preseason.

2. The roster sheet lets you know how many healthy players at a position that you need. If you look closely, you will see that you just need one healthy HB. However, if you wish to not start a sub-80 rookie, you are free to sign someone off the free agent pile. Your cap space will force you to place McAllister on IR though.

Speaking of which, with McAllister out for the season, no HB will have rushed for 1000+ yards in every season, ending one of the last remaining performance streaks in the league. I will check to see if there's any others remaining, but it could be the last for all I know. There is nobody who has record 1000+ receiving yards, ran for/caught 10 TDs in a season, or 10+ sacks. There might be someone left with 100+ tackles, but retired Saints MLB Mike Peterson was the only one that I knew could claim that.

I should get those first three done tomorrow. I am leaning toward simming the first week of the regular season on Monday, May 8th. As has been the case for most of the past several seasons, I will not be able to do live simmings for most weeks.

For those who are new or unfamiliar, each calendar week will have two in-game week0s simmed. I will probably do so on Mondays (odd-numbered weeks) and Wednesdays (even-numbered weeks. I will likely sim as early as I am able to on Monday so I can post all results that day. Then, I will inform anyone who suffered injuries (regardless if they require a roster move or not) in case that affects how they wish to approach the following week(s). I will then sim as early as I can Wednesday, post that day, and then I hope to have already updated applicable portions of the spreadsheet. Then we rinse and repeat until the playoffs.

One of the two changes I will be making is the elimination of a mid-season stat PM, so I will likely not have a mid-season break. The regular season should finish in 9 calendar weeks.

I have started Wolfenstein, but there's no way in hell that I'm getting it done before the deadline. I haven't played a Wolfenstein game aside from the demo for the PS3/360 game, but I knew that I was going to enjoy this one since it is developed by former Starbreeze guys who worked on Butcher Bay and The Darkness.

If the trial takes place in the US, I'm guessing that Datz will be the suspect and Archie will be the victim. It is never a good sign when they show you someone's portrait, especially if the player hasn't met them at all or at least during the episode.

Mention of Apollo's father out of the blue, Jove Justice. I imagine this will be important. He died in Khura'in. Make that super important.

Phoenix is coming back, but I'm guessing that we will also be going back to Khura'in at some point because no way the royal family doesn't make another appearance.

I'm not sure if they were given no budget with the Plumed Punisher animation, or if it is just an awful show. It's like Power Rangers without putting any effort into it.

For the love of god though, check the depth chart sheet at least a dozen times! Every season, someone doesn't and then I am later asked why X player is starting at Y position. The preseason is four games, and I sim it all in one fell swoop. I neither record nor even look the results. The only thing that I pay attention to is the injuries. In most seasons, we get through the preseason without interruption. On occasion, I am given a message during the sim saying X team does not have enough healthy players at Y position.

When that message pops up, I personally sign someone near the top of the position in question to a 1 year deal. In the event that the worst-case scenario occurs where such a message occurs and the team is at full capacity and/or cannot afford anyone, then I will make a judgement call on who to release in order to sign someone. Anyone is free to give me the one player at each position they would want me to cut if that happens, but I would pick someone who sits on the bench, maybe even the person who was injured.

If we are lucky, this scenario doesn't happen, but if it does, then I am hoping that the injured player suffered a season-ending injury. In that event, I could place the player on IR, and your team would recoup the cap hit that they would have tied up had they been healthy. Of course, that would require for said team to not be at full capacity, but I'm hoping that neither of these nightmare scenarios happen.
