If the other people were acting exactly the same as you (phone during rest), and he was only annoying you about it then you defintiely have more grounds to think that way. He didn't specify that all living things have edible parts, rather he declared that all living things can be considered edible, even if they are poisonous and can kill you, which is the statement that I am disputing. That's why I apologized for being a stickler in my initial response; As per the exact structure of his post, what he said was incorrect And yes, we can consume most things to certain degrees. Heck, we can eat plastic or paper if we really wanted to. The capability to do something does not equate to that decision being wise, nor does it make the part that we are eating any more or less edible. --- GT:Linkman6 |

| 123pizza2 04/15/17 12:36:21 PM #12 | Yes, certain things can be made edible, but to say that something that is toxic is edible just because you CAN eat it is incorrect. For example, look at pufferfish. Although you CAN eat the entirety of a pufferfish, it is not wise to do so. The flesh of a pufferfish is edible, whereas the organs are not (full of tetrodotoxin iirc). To say that the organs (full of a highly poisonous substance), are edible is incorrect. --- GT:Linkman6 |

If you really want to make a stretch you can say that, but the typical connotation of edible is that the substance is safe to consume, not just capable of being being consumed. | 123pizza2 04/11/17 9:12:13 AM #7 | Not gonna lie, Paradox Performer sounds kinda lame. Like it's trying too hard to make an alliteration. Paradox Principle would have gotten my attention more. Doubt Principle is pretty intriguing, but as a videogame title it wouldn't get me to wonder about it too much. Like if I heard an announcement for a game called doubt Principle I'd pass over it pretty quickly. Origin Complex gets my attention the most. In addition to sounding the best together (imo), starting with the word origin is a major plus. It gives the impression of the begining of a saga, which makes me curious. It also doesn't sound genre restricted to me. Like Paradox Performer sounds like a puzzle platformer and doubt Principle sounds like a mystery or investigation type game. Origin Complex kinda evokes a sci-fi feel, but nothing past that. --- GT:Linkman6 |
