F-Zero GX - Never has there been or will there ever be a finer racing game. Thanks to help from Amusement Visions the F-Zero series reached its final form and was never heard from again barring a few anime based GBA games. I still consider finishing story mode on Very Hard to be one of my greatest accomplishments. Make an HD version of this on Switch!

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow - SOME F***ING CRUZ. Actually no forget that. JULIUS F***ING BELMONT! Still sad we never got the 1999 game starring him.

Zelda: Wind Waker - Best ganondorf design. I still need to play the HD version of this. I honestly don't have much to say about this game because i only played it once and have forgotten most of it.

Viewtiful Joe - DAVIDSON IS THE HOUUUUSE. HULK DAVIDSON IS BORN TO BE WIIIIIIILD. Clover's first game and really the game where I really started to pay attention to Hideki Kamiya. I could tell you how great this guy is at making video games and how sad I am that Scalebound is cancelled but if you really want to know go ask your mom.

Fire Emblem - I think I hated this game at first. Somewhere around the middle of the game I just straight up stopped playing it for 6 months. I came back to it and suddenly it all clicked and the weapon triangle and the permadeath were things I embraced and was able to finish it.

You get a bunch of heat resist potions at one of the stables near the base of the mountain and you can pretty much drink those and run as fast as you can to Goron City to buy flame resistant gear

I get attacked with decision paralysis in Persona games if I don't have a schedule so I'll probably use it otherwise I would just end up not playing the game at all

Reading up on Persona 5 trophies it sounds like it's set up like 4 where there's one true ending and multiple Bad Endings before that if you make the wrong decisions in dialogue

But it sounds like the decisions are much easier to figure out and you kind of have to go out of your way to not get the true ending

And since the game's been out in Japan for several months there's already a 100% confidant guide which is another trophy

Inexplicably, Capcom decided that these save files needed to be created with a unique ID that identifies with both the exact Dragon Quarter disc in the PS2, and the exact PS2 itself. This means that your save file cannot be played on another disc-PS2 combination, including those discs rented from a game rental place or your friend's PS2. Making matters worse, your game can only be hard saved with Save Tokens, a la Resident Evil, which are in relatively short supply as are the locations where you can use them. A player can make a temporary save at any time other than while in battle, but these temporary saves can only be made as part of resetting the game, a la Diablo 2, and are immediately erased when they are loaded. One can only imagine why Capcom decided to enact this absurd saving system with Dragon Quarter, as it adds absolutely nothing to the game other than a ridiculous layer of danger.

found another town and was able to indentify all the items I found. Looks like there's a boss coming up will have to save that for tonight :O

they had switched my order last night to saying shipping on Tuesday and arriving on Thursday

which would have been no good because I leave on my trip thursday morning and I need the game before then

so I switch it to 1 day shipping v_v

I dunno about this game yet

Not sure what to make of the whole resetting the game mechanic. I haven't messed around with it enough to understand it yet.

I do like no random encounters and battles taking place right on the map and comboing moves to make new attacks

still don't know what D-Ratio and D-counter are yet I don't think I'm far enough for them to explain it yet

I had to stay up an extra 45 minutes last night just to be able to save and not lose my save token by doing SOL Restore so that's no fun :|

REmake - Hey to date still my favorite Resident Evil game. I'm pretty sure at the time I thought "no game will ever look as good as this". This is the blue print on how a remake should be done. I've played through this game so many times that it's probably the only game I can say definitively I can speed run flawlessly which I proved when the HD version come out and I streamed my platinum run. Also I recall this being the first game I ever bought with money from a real job. I did have a few one off jobs before this though so the game with that actual honor was Kirby 64

Super Mario Sunshine - One day some guy not named SHINE played a game called Super Mario SunSHINE. In preparation for the game coming out he wanted to be able to help people having trouble with the game because he knew he was the true Ace of Games so he made an account called SHINE GET 64. He never ended up helping anyone though because shortly after making the account he saw Mario and Servbot have a match and the concept was so absurd to him he had to check out the message board where people were talking about it. Then the rest was history.

Metroid Prime - Somehow they made Metroid work in first person. Retro were gods after this point in time.

Eternal Darkness - Picked up a Wavebird with this game. I remember enjoying the wavebird more than the actual game but sanity effects were so cool

Kingdom Hearts - I remember seeing a lot of pre-release footage of this but not paying a ton of attention to it thinking it would just be a weird one off. Boy was I wrong about that one. I remember playing it at my the house of my best friend's girlfriend and I was immediately hooked watching her play it. Didn't get to play it myself until a few years later though
