The holocaust was much more recent and we have lots of media depicting an alternate history based on that. But it's completely antithetical to the people on the left who (justly) want a more equal society to bitch about a show that 1) will definitely not paint slavery in a good light, and 2) is almost guaranteed to have a great deal of modern social commentary to go along with the plot. --- |

One such video had Frog Girl and now that's all she's doing. So she's jumping around on all fours and licking all of her teddy bears and pretending to fling them all over the apartment. But they all post about "theories" they got that just so happen to literally be what happens in the next few episodes. One guy even got a really important death "theorized," and the other people, half of whom I assume read the leaks too, nodded and added their own two cents, all of which are literally things confirmed to happen. It's like a circle jerk, except they're pretending that they're all geniuses for coming up with "their ideas." --- |

The random Eleventh Doctor you find at your local GameStop isn't going to inflate in value in 30 years, but that 500 print Armless Gilgamesh that's only available at comic con very well will be worth something. That's why I absolutely jumped at the chance to buy that Steven Universe vinyl the other day. It was limited to 3000 copies AND had two versions of songs that haven't been heard before. THAT will be worth more than the 15 odd bucks I spent on it. --- |
