The two main characters split his combat skills, tragic past, intellect, and insane amounts of cash. There are secret identities everywhere. Villains are recurring and often part of insidious organizations. Teamups are common. Replace the guns with masks and you have the Dark Knight show that people have been clamoring for for years.
