its mostly just been a kind of shitty flu, but the past few days have shifted to insane coughing. Like right now I feel basically normal, but I have arbitrary intense coughing fits periodically. It sucks.

For instance, making Twitters algorithm open source and defeating the spambots are in direct opposition. And if he actually eliminates all or most moderation on the site itll be end up being like 4chan (which the vast majority of users actually dont want, so it would eventually be reversed after trashing the site).

Im also not sure exactly what authenticating all humans means, but if it means youll no longer be able to have an anonymous account I would certainly stop using mine.

like Im in Chicago and we have a Six Flags pretty near by thats only open ~5 months a year or something because no one wants to ride a roller coaster when its freezing and snow would probably mess things up too, so it makes sense to just not be open

Im not even sure it means his views arent genuine, hes just able to justify his action within his views. the thing he has a problem with is being gay or trans or whatever (I dont know offhand what specifically his deal is).

I was kind of bothered by the direction they took him with that stuff at the end He went from having sort of reasonable, justifiable corrupt targets to wildly indiscriminate murder and destruction. He super abruptly made himself so much worse than the people he was mad at. Like he was a four on the evil scale and then suddenly went straight to a ten.

yeah I dont get the Quilladin hate. Its not Ivysaur, so I couldnt vote for it, but its a cute happy ball. Its maybe second or third best here to me.

its impossible to beat #1, so I had to vote Bulbasaur here, but its a strong crew. Rowlet and Snivy especially.
I think Treeckos the best of its group too, so thats 4/9 gens where grass is my favorite. Grass wins. (Three for water, two for fire, and one of the fire ones is a toss up really)

I agree, really could have used one more item slot just because the hookshot was constantly equipped

it ends up sort of ok because most of the other items just end up superfluous anyway (which is kind of a flaw of the game)... like I only really want one thing that uses MP equipped at a time, so none of the magic stuff ever got used other than the wand. (although there is one fun magical secret that I may have used a bit more if I knew about it earlier*) I dont know that the time slow was ever even used for a puzzle, its weird.

I tried the gun once against the boss in that area and just decided it wasnt worth the mp cost and never equipped it again

*fun magic secret: you can do a Links Awakening bomb arrow style thing with the wand and the frost rod to freeze distant enemies, then use your hookshot to pull yourself to the enemy)

it just seems like one of those bad mid 2000s marvel movies but in 2022 for some reason

its weird to see four games Ive legitimately never even heard of for the Xbox options ( ok I probably did theoretically hear of Mx vs Atv Alive at some point because there was probably a Quick Look, but the name isnt familiar at all)

Im nearing the end here. (Just beat Aston) Got a combination of equipment that lets me get to 400% white mage, so I can have auto raise. Its pretty tight.

this games combat is legitimately super fun. Occasionally its frustrating toward the end here because Ive been getting broken repeatedly by random enemies, just sort of stun locked at times, but mostly still a good time. I love how they adapted the job system to an action game (although I wish leveling jobs you dont actually use was a little more helpful, like just give me a stat boost for mastering Pugilist, or let me use its ability with other classes).

its really too bad this game isnt selling well. Its better than at least a few actual numbered FFs.

I like most of these pretty well, went with abomasnow.

I guessed the 600 - 1000 option since iIve been gaming since I was pretty young and Im 31 now, but I dunno. Theres a lot of variance from month to month.
January I basically played nothing but FFXIV, so that would just be one game and not even a new one.. then in March I think my count would be 4 games I hadnt played before that I played for at least five hours.

so I just did a kind of conservative (25 games x 25 years) calculation and that put me at like 600 something

Ive never played Chrono Cross so maybe Ill get that

but probably nothing for now.
maybe Ill do an old Yakuza next month

Will laughing at the joke, getting up seconds later for the stunt, Chris bracing for the slap, Will smirking on the walk back. I absolutely think it was planned. Oscars needed buzz and talking points and they got at least 2 days out of this so far. Dude won an Oscar that night so it's not like he's gonna be blacklisted from Hollywood. They all got gift packages worth high five-figures and a (small) plot of land in Scotland. I don't think anyone was about to be that angry that night. The fact that we're even questioning whether or not a room full of some of the best actors and actresses of the year staged this event is a testament to their craft, I suppose.

in practice what does this buzz actually do for the Oscars? They needed buzz before the show to get people to watch it... buzz like 2/3 through the show just doesnt seem worth whatever theyd have to pay these two guys to pretend this situation was legit.

I dont think the Academy has enough money to pay Will Smith to mess up his pretty clean image like this.
