Yeah you're right it's a steady burn of unease in the first few episodes up until the finale where it was full on anxiety for me. But there's something about the entire concept that has this fog of unease that settles in you from the start.

And Milchick is definitely a standout in a cast full of great characters. Same with Britt Lower who I have wanted to see in more things since Man Seeking Woman got cancelled.

yeah, I was happy to see Britt too. Man Seeking Woman is under appreciated, I really enjoyed it. She and Adam Scott make a great pseudo Jim/Pam for the inside story.

Its very cool and good. I didnt find it quite as constantly stressful, but there is definitely serious tension there.

also the guy who plays Milchick is incredible and I couldnt believe he hasnt had more work when I looked him up

Im not totally sure how gorilla v. bear would go in real life, but I think a gorilla would win. And DK is a gorilla with a gun and basically dumb human intelligence.

I wonder if the source of these numbers is underrepresenting Ms Marvels viewership. SambaTV only gets its data from smart TVs with their specific software or whatever, so if something was disproportionately watched by viewers on other stuff, the numbers would look worse than they actually are
Is a show whose audience skews younger going to have more of its viewers come from laptops/game consoles/whatever rather than a proper television? How similar is the demographic make up of SambaTVs users to the country as a whole?

yeah that definitely seems like a situation where theyre starting with a feasible date because they dont even want to release it sooner

that would be pretty weird since most of the crew still cant be in an office together either. Jan, Rorie, and the Gamespot duo are the only people near the office.
Dan and Bakalar can maybe get together occasionally, but Grubb, Jess, and Jason are totally spread out from anyone else.

I played the whole thing and I just never felt like I was enjoying it as much as I should be. Im not sure if it was the game feel or the level design, but there was definitely something off about it.

I dont care to actually do the math, but I would guess that proportionately more Gen 1 Pokmon are part of three stage lines since a lot of the ones that werent originally got retconned into being one with babies or new evolutions in Gen IV

Tangentially related, at this point, I think the only nonlegendary Gen 1 Pokmon that are totally single stage are Ditto, Aerodactyl, Pinsir, Lapras, and Tauros.
Of those, two got a mega evolution and one got a gigantimax form, so just Ditto and Tauros are completely unchanging (except obviously Ditto is always changing)

tauros needs a new form or something in Scarlet/Violet

yeah I watched that one last year and it was like.... oh huh, a third game about a witch who likes to farm or whatever. Ok.

it mostly seemed like stuff I would theoretically enjoy, but there was so dang much of it and it just sort of blended together

based on what happened with the last few Mario sports games, I think Im going to hold off on this one for a while.

They release a bunch of characters and stuff as free updates, but I never actually see any of it because Im already moved on from the game by the time the stuff comes out.

like I get that the monetization of this game is bad, but in practice does the game seem set up in a way that anyone would actually spend that much money? Is that just if you want to make all the numbers go to the top without actually playing it at all?

it feels like when Halo Infinite came out and people were like woah, it would cost $xxxx to buy every cosmetic item in the game! it was a pointless metric because thats not how a normal player engages with a game
