I mean girls with cat ears are super hot, but you know, I have always wanted them to actually be HUMAN girls with cat ears. I don't quite get the whole furry thing tbh. I'm not anti-blue skin, I mean cyan is my favorite color and a cyan skinned chick would be seriously hot, but both of her forms kinda creep me out. If I was tied down and forced to choose I would go with true form, but I would try and bite through my wrists (or the rope if that was possible) to escape.

I'm only 30 hours in but yeah, I did the castle already and it's really freaking deadly, I hate those feaking eagles soooo much.

There is also soooo freaking much in there, it's alot to unpack lol. Literally hours and hours to explore it all. Might want to take a break halfway through and go explore the wilderness more.

Highly suggest before doing any of the harder content (such as godrick etc) that you have.

A: A good summon you like, possibly leveled up. Jellyfish works pretty well early on due to poison and survivability.

B: good ranged attack. If your going non-magic you can make a bow work, but a ranged spells is really useful. I used the fireball incantation which you can charge. It one shots (when charged) the feaking eagles....who suck...hard.....so yeah, have something like that.

C: a way to heal outside of potions. Honestly unless you feel like exploring all over and getting like 10 flasks or something (I did the castle with 6), you need heal at some points (or I guess god level skill heh). It's way more efficient to use melee for killing most stuff (of which there is tons) and just ranged spells on eagles/bats etc.

That'll get you through it, though the more you prepare the better and you don't really get anything for beating him and activating the rune (It adds +5 to all stats but only till you die, which you will do when your fighting anything actually tough or exploring dangerous places...so basically you won't have the stats when you need them.

Um, disney has pretty much ALWAYS normalized furry culture, I would imagine a good percentage of all furries became that way due to Disney movies/films etc.

There are so many good burger places in CA, even in suburbs/small towns etc.

MooYaa burgers are as good as any burger you can make at home. Only went to the one in morgan hill, but they are all over CA (and there are many in other states as well) https://www.mooyah.com/locations

Inn and Out is fast food (unlike Mooyaa) with a drive in and it's all over the place in CA. I would, in general, rate their burgers over Carl's Jnr, and while they used to be expensive in comparison, that is no longer the case. Both cost about the same now.

Fuddruckers and Johhny Rockets are both all over the place in CA (there is a peggy sues I think it's called in a few places which is like Johnny rockets as well). They offer great burgers, milkshakes etc, but sadly I have not seen them outside CA.

Finally Shake Shack while biggest in NY and the east coast, has a decent number of shops in both the Bay Area and LA and is also extremely good.

Outside of the above, there are tons of good diners and individual burger places that are not chains, all over the place. In generally if you were to rate burgers in CA I would say most places are at least a 6/10 with many being 9-10/10.....and many chains being extremely high as well.

Meanwhile the best burger you can get in Olympia is from Five Guys or Red Robin generally, unless you luck out and find a better diner somewhere. I have not found anything even approaching a MooYaa burger in olypia/shelton/Seattle/Portland/Tacoma etc. I've found decent burgers mind you, but nothing I would rate over a 7, especially from any of the chains here.

Honestly it's more like souls meats witcher 3 and is really freaking awesome lol.

So lets take a journey back in time....waaaay back, before most on this board were even born.

So Mc'Ds has pretty much always been the same quality/food, they have not changed things up much or at least you can not tell if they have. Their fries changed a bit (think they were forced to stop adding sugar to them) but still taste mainly the same.

BK though is different, drastically different and if you go back far enough, their food used to actually be really freaking good.

Back in the mid 80's BK used to flame broil each burger and they seemed to use better meat as well. I swear to freaking god that the double whopper back then was god tier, especially after 4+ hours working construction. Those burgers were so good (I was like 13-14 at the time) that I still remember the taste.

Now part of it was hunger. I was laying cement and doing the job of a full man at 13 or so (and getting paid $15 an hour which was insane back then, even for adults). The money was great, but what I looked forward to was lunch and those insanely delicious burgers.

But then things changed, and not recently either, in the late 90's BK changed things up (1999 to be exact) switching to new broilers that were not nearly as good, nor produced as tasty burgers. I believe they also changed their meat products at the same time though no proof of that exists that is easily found.

These burgers were not as flame broiled as the previous ones, lacked as much flavor and lasted a far shorter time before becoming increadibly bland. You needed ketchup and mustard on them just for them to taste halfway decent.

But....those were STILL better than the burgers we now have. In 2011 BK got in trouble with the food board because of contaminated food etc, and had to change things up again. At that point I believe they started regularly microwaving burger patties before using them, and honestly after 2011 you could no longer tell that the burgers had been flame broiled. The easiest way to tell is to just buy flate out burger patties (used to be $2 a pop, no clue how much they are now). They are bland, no grill marks, no real taste. It tastes exactly like if you bought a frozen patty at the store and grilled it on the stove (in a frying pan), till it was mostly done, and then let it rest for 10-15 minutes and microwaved it (Try it, it's exact).

Those burgers are not tasty, all the flavor comes from the other ingrediants on the whopper (lettuce/tomato/onions/cheese/pickles/mustard/ketchup. If you just eat a patty it barely has any flavor at all and is just grey meat.

That, as far as I know, was the last significant change to BK's burgers and is what many people today consider normal (considering it's been over 11 years since the change.

Anyway, that is the sad history of BK burgers and the decline from delicious to barely edible. The only thing they have going for them is the other ingrediants, although honestly they are still better than MC'Ds burgers (which are just horrid).

Carl's Jnr/Hardies are still really good, although you need to ask them to make your burger patties fresh for the flame broiled taste to still be there. They also downgraded their broilers, but not nearly as much, and you can still the actually grilled taste on them (especially if your lucky). They vary greatly in how good their food is, so it is more than just the ingrediants and broiler that makes a difference (which can be quite large from store to store). I think some stores just broil a bunch and then microwave them like BK....while others are more proactive and broil the burgers to order instead. I always ask for fresh burgers but even then it's hit or miss with random Carl's Jnrs sadly.

I keep switching between my magic/astrologer user and my melee/faith user.

They are both fun, but I enjoy the faith user more at this point and will stick with him. He is still using the starting greatsword for now...really need to get a better weapon later on.

He has some good incantations including a fireball, but can also use heal if melee is the best bet, allowing to keep going like an energizer bunny....which is really nice compared to my mage.

I need to try bleed eventually, only have one weapon with it so far, but heard good things. i really like my greatsword for now though since it two shots most things (at least with a starting jump attack. When I ran through the first divine area (to power up Godricks rune) having my greatsword to deal with all those fools and unlimited health really rocked.

The real question long term is if I need to focus on arcane at all to boost bleed, if that is really good, instead of boosting say strength up more (currently strength is only 20).

Considering going seriously into faith later once I get my vigor and mind up a bit more (wanna try and at least keep them high enough to get the full use out of potions.

Really love the game though, best by far in the series and may be my game of all time (we will see).

Love incantations they have so much more variety than just magic. I was getting kinda bored of just spamming the same magic spells.

I fought some enemy in one of those blue things to get a big ball of exploding flame, and the battle was kinda epic. I couldn't melee the fool, and I could ONLY hit him with my fireball at the very end of an attack combo he did (otherwise he would dodge). So I literally backed away from him for 20+ minutes waiting for the attack animation and firingoff my fireball right at the end when he couldn't dodge. I killed him with my last fireball (no more poitons or mana) lol, it was that close.

Some of this stuff I seriously don't know how you melee. I'm guessing you need much more hp, endurance and probably defenses to melee it.

Steak prices in general have more than doubled in just the last year near me. That is from the already increased covid costs. A basic ribeye steak which was 6.99 just 3 years ago now goes for $20/pnd. Tri tip steaks which were always $5 or less a pound (less on sale/on fridays etc) have a base price of $10 a pound (just double but they have always been a "cheaper" steak.

Chicken is always over $4 and often over $5 which means I only get fried chicken at the counter because it's actually CHEAPER that way lols (you get 8 pieces on monday at safeway for $5....which is about 2 pounds of chicken, already fried and yummy in the air fryer).

Safeway at least still has sales every week on some type of steak, which often gets the price down to a managable level (just generally not on chicken lately other then the fried stuff).

Still yeah, honestly it's about the cost of going out 2 years ago to eat, just to buy stuff at the store. That is mostly for meats but all the prices (Breads etc) have gone up. It's almost impossible to get a bag of bagels for less than $3 now for instance, when Sarah lee bagels (which are hard to even find now) were generally 1-1.50 (on sale ALWAYS..and they lasted like forever somehow...maybe they were not bread but like some evil creation or something).

Point is, when you go shopping, it's hard to leave spending less than $100 even if your only buying 4 meals or so, and that is more than the price of eating out 4 times a few years ago.

Honestly what would make the world better is having no humans at all. We have done nothing to benefit this planet and the future looks grim based on how the last century (and the last few years) have gone.

Sadly that is because of greedy/evil people who don't care about each other, the world, etc.

They already exist, and they will have kids etc. The only way to fight against it (other than wiping out all of humanity which is pretty cruel as well), is to help create more good/caring people who do care about each other, the environment etc.

The decision to destroy all humans is a pretty horrid one, as there are many good people on this planet and there is no reason why humanity can not live in peace and help the world become a heavan not just for humans but for all animals etc.

Honestly if we only had 1 billion people on this planet and we were careful with resources, and used humane methods of killing animals for food (if we didn't just spend our time figuring out how to grow meat etc so no animals needed to die etc) humans could live great lives while not harming anything (including each other).

And that is still a FREAKTON of humans on the planet. Everyone could still have 2 children (total though) just keeping the population even (and then a lottery could be held for an additional child if you wanted one (you would enter into it each year, and it's based on the number of unexpected deaths by people who had not already had 2 children yet).

That would allow for the human race to maintain a steady/consistent population on this planet. you could easily use clean sources of energy as well, and focus on boosting technology etc without any wars, no drugs (non-recreational), no crime or very little etc (since everything has what they need to enjoy life).

There is literally no reason with our technology and resources available to us, that we don't have that kind of life, except plain greed and a lack of caring/concern for each other.

We as a race are pretty much monsters. There are good people and bad people, but in general the people who end up in control or with power are greedy (hence seizing the power) and that leads to the way the world currently works. It's actually insanely sad.

Bog, if you mean the luke in Mando/Bobba, I thought they did a great job and it was freaking seriously awesome and it's a TV show not a movie, they can easily do it with a movie, not to mention altering things a bit (like having him wear a hood alot etc) to make it easier/less expensive.

In the thrawn books btw luke kinda goes to the dark side for a bit and his appearance changes fairly drastically in the process so you could probably just find a look alike actor or do some kinda mask they wear etc for a long term role......probably way cheaper than doing it all digitally.

Mandalorian/BoBF were both quite good (and will continue to be I am guessing) and I'm very glad they were not movies. Got many hours of enjoyment between them (even if BoBF was basically just another season of Mando.

Obi Wan looks rocking and if they are bringing mace back that is gonna freaking rock as well, maybe we will eventually see him in Mando/BoBF (I mean he totally killed BF's father in front of him, maybe...revenge???

Movies have plain sucked over all for awhile in the star wars universe. I actually semi-liked the prequel and Solo, but the last 3 movies were garbage in my opinion (I liked the second 3 more than the last 3 and only really enjoyed the 3rd of those at all).

What I really want is the Thrawn books made into movies, the last 3 star wars movies to be made non-cannon, Lei to have twins, Luke to get jiggy with Jade etc.

That would freaking rock. They already had digi Luke so why not just digi them all and make the great story that already exists into a freaking movie.

Things are a bit more expensive now, but yeah, if you seriously went at it, and worked your but off, even starting from scratch you could get pretty far, pretty fast. My friend for instance has an entry level job requiring only basic tech skills that pays $25 an hour. He lives in the bay area and rents a basement for $900 but is thinking of just living out of his van soon instead to save the cash (and renting storage/gym membership for less than $100 a month.

NY has a similar pay scale as the bay area, so you can probably get a $25 an hour job pretty easy if you have any skills at all, even just basic tech skills/typing etc which even the rich who didn't have to work a day of their lives probably have. They also probably have semi-decent sales skills etc since they have commuinicated alot (although they may have to change how they act towards people.

Anyway, if you really hustled and worked around 10 hours a day or so, 7 days a week, got a super cheap laptop (like $100) to access the internet and post things on line, bought and sold for profit in your off hours etc, you could probably accrue a decent amount of money in a fairly short period of time. It wouldn't be 30 days like in survivor though, but give it a year? You could see some serious gains.

Take a base 25$/hr and 112 hours a week (2 jobs, no overtime, 16 hour days/7days a week), and you have a base of 400$*30.5 days per month (12,200$ per month). You use the trick of declaring yourself exempt (all taxes paid at the end of the year) to give yourself more liquid assets to work with.

That sounds unsustainable, but you don't need to do that long term, you just need to get enough money to start investing/buying selling asap. Sales jobs, jobs that tip etc could also boost your base pay/hr significantly allowing you to work far less hours (especially tipping jobs like working as a bartender etc).

Soon as you get enough assets you start buying/selling, initially with cars/motorcycles etc. You can always get good deals and flip them, and often at least double the money invested (especially if you have the time to hit auctions etc, though that does generally require you to know more about cars).

First month you grind out about 12k and invest that, working your but off. After that you start working just 40 hours and trying to maximize the profits from that time, and then focus on buying/selling around that. Depending on your pay and how much you are getting from buying/selling you might rent a room at that point (still can get rooms for less then 1k in NY, just not in Manhattan).

IF you can get your realtors license (or already had it), that would help a ton in stage 2, where you start buying/selling properties (although in NY that is going to be significantly harder, you can do so on Long Island etc where there are still mobile homes etc fairly fast). It is highly likely any originally rich dude is going to have very good credit which would help a ton, but that might be cheating, still they should still have the ability to use a normal credit rating which could allow them to easily start buying/selling mobile homes with just 10k to invest.

Then it's all downhill from there, eventually allowing you to just buy/sell and not need to work at all due to the large profits your making from investing, which you wouldn't see someone start from scratch and have millions by the end of the year, you could easily see them being finacially stable enough just from buying and selling to not need to work, live in a nice home (that they own) and making over 100k profit a year (Already) by the end of the year. While not everyone could do that, I bet if you did have a survivor type show where a group of rich buisiness people (kinda like the old Apprentice show) started from scratch, the top few would all end up that way after a year.

I don't think there is a good reason to have children in this period of humanity. In the past you'd have kids to help you live your life, and even that is kind of a greedy concept. Choosing to reproduce today is inherently selfish and while not immoral, there isn't anything morally redeeming about it.

I mean I would have always been down to adopt instead of having my own children, but having kids, if you feel like your life is secure enough and you can protect them and give them a good life, can be a joyous thing for both you, and your children. Long as you can give them a good life, full of more joy than pain, happiness than sadness and prepare them for the world, then having kids can be a great thing, even in todays (in my opinion overpopulated) world.

More good people in the world the better. There are certainly plenty of greedy/bad/evil etc people out there, so if you can raise some children who care about others, are responsible, and work to make the world better, you are doing something great.

The problem is Idiocracy was right, and not just about IQ levels, but also about how likely it is for selfish people to have children over people who care about others. Same general rules apply. Selfish people will be more likely to have multiple kids, while those who truly care about the children and want what is best for them probably only have a few (obviously there are exceptions and religion can also play a role in that).

It is REALLY easy to miss things in this game. I'm having fun though.

First I missed the summoning bell (and wolf summon, and I love wolves) until i had put a good 20-30 hours into the game lol. I finally got them, and now I can upgrade them as well (which rocks).

Second it took forever and a day for me to find a few spells. I got some from NE of where I started, but they were not really better, I eventually found a turtle (cause you know, turtles are known to be epic spellcasters) that had a few good spells for me, but jeez that took awhile to find.

I got a rapier eventually and used a keen warthingy on it, which makes it do good damage based on dex (which I find helps dps significantly, and gives me an alternate damage type/combat type.

The rapier is super fast, but I'm using it less now as my spellcasting gets better. My int is about 40 but I have not noticed a ton of bonus damage from boosting it. Boosting Mind also just doesn't seem to really add much to my max FP.

I also have a melee char who was much easier to play initially (I killed the tree knight and got his halberd, but the lionels greatsword or whatever it's called that I got almost right away is still better honestly.

That greatsword with jump attacks just destroys bosses. It was total cake to kill pumpkin head with it, but with my sorc it was a real pain and I died like 3 times before I killed him (did it easily with the greatsword character on the first try and barely used any healing potions (and he has all healing potions lol).

First early/semi fast soul farm spot for me are the 2 giants pulling the carrage ne of the start. They are worth like 1k each, but they can't attack back if you range them (spells especially) and the second one doesn't even count as in combat so you use no stamina casting spells on him. That is a great/easy way to get souls for a spellcaster since you can just spam attack them and then run n a bit and reset.

Still not that far in with either character though, so not sure how they will turn out long term, but so far, melee seems much easier, especially from horseback. The halbard is actually better then the greatword on horseback cause if I time it right I get 2 swiped with it (heavy ones).

I believe it is not, hence me not having kids once I hit 40 (even though I have always wanted to be a dad, just not a dead dad).

I'm ok with possibly meeting someone who has kids already, especially if they are a bit older (9 or more), since i would just be adding to their lives.

I believe (strongly) that if you have children it is your responsibility to make their life as happy/good as possible and to be there for them until they are adults (not just 18) and ready/able to take care of themselves. Having kids and not taking responsibility for them is cruel and depending on their life can basically be torturing someone, forcing them to live in a world with nobody that cares for them and possibly suffering most of their lives (ending up in jail etc).

You have the ability to have sex without having kids, if you do have a child and then abandon them, that is pretty horrible.

Have you tried the McD's app? Sometimes you can get a decent discount that way. For instance I received a 20% discount the last time I went by using my app; it came to less than 10.

I very very rarely go, but when I do, I use the app, usually to get a large fries for $1 (generally the best deal). This isn't amazing but since I usually get the 2 for 3.59 chicken sandwiches or something, that makes the meal a bit under 6$ with the fries. Think it's like 3.59 for 2 chicken sandwiches (buy 1 get 1 for $1) and $1 for the fries and with tax it's like 5.49 or something (been months since I have done that).

That is...still somewhat cheap for a meal, but it's not very filling, nor good (hence not doing it often). It also literally used to be $1 normally for those sandwiches (or Mc Doubles) just a few years ago. The fries were still more than a dollar though, so the total price without the app was still around $5 (maybe 4 and change so $1 less).

Capes are also pretty good at hiding daggers/knives that are hidden on your back or in the back of your pants etc (and are much less obvious then a cloak etc). Depending on the color of the cloak you can use it as cover or to conceal yourself (especially in dark places etc).

There are probably tons of uses for cloaks to be honest, we just don't actually live in a world where most of those uses still actually matter.

Btw, second day with same candle. I blew it at at about 1-2 am when I went to bed, so about 12 hours after lighting it. It's been going for about 2 hours today, wonder if it'll make it to 24 hours total before it dies.

Candles are among the most common cause of house fires.

My candles are in a glass on top of a plate on top of a strong wood cabinet that wouldn't catch fire if you put a flame right up on it....so it's pretty safe.

Cool, I'll probably try next Tuesday then. I got an interview on Monday for a new job actually, and Tuesdays are usually a goto shopping day since it's the day before the new sales at Safeway. I base if I'm gonna shop on Tuesday or Wed based on which weeks sales are better lol.

If you'd come by my work today, you could have gotten some delicious broccoli beef and chow mein for much cheaper. I'm sure you have your preferences and whatnot, but still. It's something to consider.

I haven't been by that store for awhile, maybe I will next time I go shopping. They stopped carrying my favorite muenster cheese which was the main reason I go there. I went to Gibsons fine meats when I went shopping today (and then the safeway nearby). I did always mean to try the brocolli beef at your store cause you said it's really good:)

Yeah, I didn't even mention that the portion size was also smaller an they gave more rice lol. Double the rice (two balls) but almost 1/2 as much of the main ingredient....while almost trippling the price.

I'd like a cooking show that airs every weak and makes meals based on the sales at chain grocery stores like Safeway etc. They buy the ingrediants at that store and then cook the meals so you can follow the recipe exactly. That would kinda rock.

I live out on an island near olympia WA surrounded by trees with constant cloud cover. When the power goes out, it's pitch black. No light at all. Last time I didn't even know where the flashlights were (luckily Ihad my phone for some light). It's crazy dark though, you are basically blind.

That was awhile ago and I planned on getting candles since then but didn't till today, so it'll be nice for that, and also for the scents. I'm gonna be doggo watching for 10 days or so, and the candles will help fight the doggo fart smells lol.

As a cat owner I can't do candles. But I do like wax burners. You should look into them. They are pretty cheap too.

Trip, I looked em up on amazon, I had never heard of that before. I may get one. I do kinda like the candle flame though, but I could just use them for dark nights (not batman) and use the wax warmer/burner during the day.

But yeah, you can't even eat Mc D's for less then around $10 now. I used to get a few things off the dollar menu and walk away for $4. Now just the fries cost about that much lol.

I got this cinammon scented one today (along with a bunch of others) from dollar tree (they were 1.25 each not $1!! liars!!).

Anyway it's been going now for something like 6 hours and still looks like it's only like halfway gone.

Pretty amazing if you ask me. I mean, I have used candles before, so I'm not like a total candle newb, but I don't remember them lasting so long. This one is in a glass and I guess that makes it last longer, the ones I used to get were usually long and burned down much faster.

Could totally just light one up a day (candle, not drugs) and scent your house for just 1.25!! Glad i bought like 10 of em (mostly vanilla though sadly this is the only cinnamon.)

Supermans used to have functionality. Back in the day it was indestructible and as such he could stretch it and use it for things. Apparently also had a pocket for his glasses iirc. But I've also seen comic panels where his cape was used against him. Grabbing it to sling and slam him into the ground as one example

And as mentioned above, especially in the original super man tv show, it was symbolic of a flag, with him standing with his cape flaring behind him much like the US flag. In fact it actually has him standing in front of the flag (with it blowing like his cape) in the original intro.

Actually I only tipped 5$, I just rounded up to 50 (said about $50).

There are these Kettle crinkle cut sea salt chips, that are really good, super crunchy, but almost impossible to find. I think you can get em on amazon though (gonna look right now). You can't get em at safeway anymore.

Not good for my diet, or my diabetes but I'm gonna go try to order some cause they rock.
