In terms of "being good at Hulk" that was all on Banner being over-protective. Jen doesn't have Super Schizophrenia to deal with so of course she's gonna handle the basics better/more quickly.

I saw less than half of the Marvel movies before IW, and havent seen anything post IW (not even Endgame) except for She Hulk and the pilot to Moon Knight.

I have zero clue what state the big meta-story for the MCU is in and the only Hulk tv/movie content I cared for prior to SheHulk was, unironically, the handful of episodes Id seen of the Bill Bixby series. <______<

(What I read of Immortal Hulk was great though and if that ever gets adapted Im there)

Jen herself is great but the way these episodes are paced feels weird. Like they somehow feel too short and too long at the same time. >_>

It's naive at best and usually reads as a red flag. The apologia is "I dont hate gay people, I just hate when their entire identity is nothing but gay."

But nobody likes when any character is a boring and ham-fisted archetype of a single chcharacteristic. What they actually mean is "I hate bad writing". So to single out homosexuality (or any ethnicity/gender/etc) as something uniquely bad is sus as hell.

And even beyond that the fact is most people complaining about "politics" are whining about some of the most banal shit imaginable. If a trans allegory for a side-character ends up being too on the nose who cares. No piece of media is gonna be perfect.

The anger controlling thing isnt even a big deal. Only reason it was ever a problem was because one slip up for Bruce and the entire city gets wrecked.

Jen has complete control of her Hulk persona so even if she couldnt control her transformation the worst that would happen is that she ruins her clothes. Ended up making it feel dumb that they spent so much time on the anger issue when it's a complete non-factor >_>

I dont really mind the short length but it feels like even with the 30 minute run time it's spinning its wheels. Which I wouldnt necessarily mind except most of the character-based "filler" feels uninteresting.

Like they really could've edited these two 30 minute epsiodes into single 45-minute one and it wouldve been great.

Critical flop? Unlikely. Even if it's just "more BotW" game critics love incremental rehashes as long as the presentation is good. Pokemon and seasonal FPS still review well

Fan flop? This is the only possible scenario and I dont think we've seen enough of the game (ie any of it) to make a judgment call

Depends on the point value of the character. You can accumulate up to 4 points without being a furry.

Your Aisha Clan Clans are 0 points. Technically on the furry spectrum but are human enough not to register.

Monster girls (lamias, centaurs, harpies) are 1 point.

Fully animal, but highly anthro and hominid characters, ie Gadget Hackwrench, are 2 points.

Then stuff like Twilight Sparkle or Lucario are 10 points and you're beyond salvation

I might grab it on a sale someday but that really depends on what the finished game looks like. If there's a lot of side-content, exploration, and character build options I'll be interested, but if it ends up just being a typical AAA action game ima just watch the story on youtube. >_>

I agree. It sucks. A successful Warcraft Cinematic series could have been really good. I still think they should try again. Sometimes I wonder if they did animated instead, maybe on HBO, it would do better

Shame about the Discovery shit going on with HBO right now but yeah, in theory it sounds like it'd be great. 4 season project that spans the PC games and after that they can do WoW I guess, though I know jack and shit about WoW >_>
