That was only in the American version I think. Probably because of the censorship of having Poison as as dude, since beating up women in a videogame was looked down upon or some shit.

She was a female in the Japanese version along with another character. But nowadays its kinda ambiguous unless theres been a new development I'm not aware of recently.

i imagine you haven't interacted with the ffxiv community for very long, tc. mmo players are the same everywhere you go -- give it time.

I've been playing since 2014 and can only count around a dozen times I've encountered toxicity. Thats pretty damn low if you think about it.

If you have a sprout on your head, nine times out of ten people will actually gift you things and help you along for you to get comfortable in the game.

The community really does welcome new players kindly.

My areas accent is also one I hate but I will defend the Yorkshire accent for as long as I live lol.

Its usually from my experience from secondary school. A lot of the girls had that same exact voice and were usually extremely rude and egotistical.

Ever since then I just had a distaste of that voice.

Yeah I didn't know this. I guess the perversion of the word is more popular here in the west which is kinda disappointing.

Had no idea. I knew there was (Kake) but had no idea there was that "other" word that was a type of udon soup. What was hilarious was that they wrote "Kake" on the menu but for the other one, just wrote the initials "BK" but still kept the hiragana spelling. My girlfriend said it a few times which made me cringe as well lmao. I don't know if she did it on purpose or not.
