You can complain about not getting a tip all you want. A customer isn't required to tip you. They are only required to pay what the restaurant or store charges.

So if a customer wants to use a service that is all they are required to pay regardless if you like it or not. Any designs you speak of is the employer tap dancing around not paying their own staff.

The staff working there needs to get angry at the employer paying a s***ty wage.

The only gymnastics here is defending the ass backwards practice that favors companies and corporations not paying their own employees. They have successfully brainwashed so many in America it's the customers responsibility or the customers the awful ones.

Drivers arent staff. They are contractors. Those apps are platforms for them to do business. Feel free not to tip but they also arent required to pick up your order so dont bitch that you dont get it on time or that its cold. Unlike restaurant servers, they dont get fired for not catering to entitled customers. You keep equating app drivers to restaurant staff and they arent nearly the same thing.

Customers aren't required to tip. Employers know this yet voluntarily use this model anyway because they know tipping culture in America will embrace it, mitigating responsibility away from the company.

The only thing a customer is required to do is pay the actual fees of a restaurant or product.

And you arent required to use the service. Dont use it then bitch that youre supposed to tip drivers when its literally designed to work that way. Any other mental gymnastics you do around it is just an excuse to be a terrible human being to another human being trying to scrape by.

You guys do realize that the entire service model for DD, UberEats, GrubHub, etc is entirely based on tipping right? The drivers are contractors. They depend on your tips to make a living. They dont get any benefits. They get a minimal flat rate. All you are doing by not tipping is hurting hard working people who are trying to make a living, same as you. If you dont like it, dont use the service.

No. I have a husband and daughter now, make 4 times the money I did then, drive a much nicer car and own 2 homes. Life is much better.

Thats why I do that. Did some research and that seems to be what drivers want. I rarely have delivery issues. At least with drivers picking it up maybe not on order correctness lol but thats usually not the drivers fault.

You got this. Youre stronger than you think. I feel you on the emotional stuff. Im an INTJ as well. Rarely ever cry at movies and stuff. Suddenly found myself crying at sappy corny commercials. The emotional stuff lasts a bit when the baby is out. I had no idea baby blues was a thing so dont worry if a week or two after birth you are a depressed mess. Postpartum depression/anxiety is if it lasts longer than that. In my case the depression went away but then I was diagnosed with postpartum panic disorder. 3 months on meds and I was much better. Nothing to be ashamed about. Its all hormone crap.

My husband started playing last night. Hes playing right now. I want to play too but cant when Im with my daughter and too wiped out when she sleeps.

Yes its pretty much the perfect house.

The first time I watched it I thought it was slow too and didnt quite get it but wow it hit harder on the second watch when I understood more. Roys scene is one of the best in movie history imo

Toddlers need much more sleep than adults do and its not healthy for their development if they arent getting it. Not to mention it makes them cranky and even more difficult to deal with. Which results in parents trying to appease them with more TV and junk food. Which leads to more bad behavior. And the cycle repeats.

This show is so bad. Im no Tolkien purist and havent read much of his work so Im not someone who gives af about that. Its just genuinely boring and the dialogue is bad.

Or maybe things should just return to how they were precovid before all the craziness. I think prices should come down and they will over time with these rates. But wishing for a crash like 2008 where so many people lost everything is fucking twisted.

And the problem isnt current homeowners. Its corporations that took advantage of low rates to buy up all the property and raise prices. Anyone with sense would recognize that.

Only way I see a crash crash is if alot of people lose their jobs from a really bad recession, and they lose their investments and retirement from a market crash, and they have no choice but to default.

Whats sad is a lot people are hoping this will happen just so they can buy a house for cheap. Its pretty sick.

House prices will go down but it will only matter to people who absolutely have to sell. The rest of us will just ride the wave on our low rates. Who knows if the rates will ever get back to what they were before.

I dont know what happened to BK but the one by me is absolutely disgusting. Anytime Ive ordered food it was stale and barely warm. The employees look like they dgaf. I havent gone in a couple of years. I used to love BK but the BK I had in Canada was much much better than here.

Keywords are when the lease is up. Landlords can choose not to renew and sell the home instead.

I dont know if Id agree about prices not going down. I keep seeing price decrease after price decrease on homes here. The data is still coming in. In our neighborhood the houses just sit unsold for weeks even months. Meanwhile Redfin sends me emails about how the value of my home went up. Um no it didnt, its just that the houses sitting around that are comparable to mine havent sold so it hasnt adjusted yet.

No I couldnt leave my family behind. Maybe I could arrange meeting my husband again but odds that I would have my daughter again would be zero so I would lose her forever. And even if that was a guarantee I cant imagine spending all those years without her.

Nope. Hes still bad at verbal affirmation. But he shows support by cooking, getting groceries, watching our baby when I want to workout, etc. And he never cooked or did groceries before so I recognize that. He is acts of service through and through. I do miss verbal affirmations though.

Thats incredible! You should be proud Cleo, iirc were talking about a difference of like ~15% body weight, Im sure that goal felt daunting and you persevered to follow through despite that. Aww thank you! It feels good to reach this goal. I struggled with so many set backs and times where I took breaks. Its been slow but Im finally here. Just need to push myself for that final stretch.

There is also much more to being clean than just picking up after yourself. Thats the easy part. I wonder if TC ever scrubs his toilets, tub and showers. Cleaned his microwave, fridge, sink, cabinets, etc. You can keep tidy but that doesnt mean your home is clean.

Why do you care about what other people do with their money? What a weird hang up.

My husband gained weight too. We were both so tired and binging. But its helped that were both trying to lose weight together. We both cook together and minimize buying junk so theres no temptation. Hes dropped almost 20 lbs so far. Im really proud of him!
