Imo, DC have more (like, way more) quality cartoons than Marvel, but Spectacular Spider-Man is the greatest superhero cartoon (fuck that, one of the greatest shows period) of all time.

I have siblings, so I grew up having to share and compromise with them on things for so long. Video games were one of them.
Then I eventually got old enough to work and got to a point where I could buy my own stuff and I didn't have to share anything with them anymore, or anyone else for that matter. It pretty much spoiled me.

And on top of that, video games is something I treat as "me time" nowadays. In the rare instance that I have the absolute free time to play a game, I just want to kick back and have a couple hours of fun without dealing with anyone. Outside of a few exceptions, it's not really something I enjoy to do with others.

That's mainly just a rule of thumb to kind of keep in mind. It's rare that a movie's runtime and its script's page number actually sync up.

sounds like disco elysium would be something you'd enjoy, considering how story heavy and atmospheric it is

i recently played Vampyr, and while i wouldn't recommend it for everyone, sounds like something you might enjoy considering how story-based it is. i personally loved that i felt like an actual vampire the whole time, well done in that regard.

I've heard good things about Disco Elysium, and maybe I'd give it a try one day, but it's not something that's really piquing my interest at the moment. There's something about Vampyr that's off puting to me. I know it's this mid-shelf title, but it have this cheapness/unpolished look to it that makes me not want to give it a try.

and while I only played a little, you might like Return to the Obra Dinn.

it has a really cool concept, IMO - you work as this inspector, and you have to determine what happened to a ship full of people (whether they died, escaped, etc.).

edit: since you're looking forward to the System Shock remake, you might like Prey.

I've played TLoU2 and RDR2. The other three I'm not really feeling. I don't have an interest in Prey (2017) either, but I do want to go back and play the original one again.
There's this game I really want to get around to buying called Route 96. The game looks all kinds of charming and atmospheric.

I highly recommend it. Especially now for me with everything I have to stay on top of between work, "gigs," and furthering my education, it's a great way to blow off some steam.

I remember being exhausted with MGSV after playing that ADHD-induced opening sequence and then being immediately dropped into an open world right after.

I have yet to go back to it.

It's the latest stupid obsession on the Internet in general since the sequel is coming out later on this year.

I really don't know why people want happy endings for all GTA characters. They're criminals living dangerous lives. It's unlikely and unrealistic if they all get away with it.

My headcanon has bad endings for most of them.

Vic Vance - we know killed at the beginning of Vice City

Tommy Vercetti - obvious thing here is the Forellis got revenge for Sonny. They were still around in GTA3, no one heard of a Vercetti gang

CJ - well we know how big the Leones got, and he swore to kill CJ. It's not unrealist8c he put a successful hit on him

Toni Cipriani - after Salvatore was killed the Leones fell apart. Toni either faced the wrath of the Triads, or police investigating him got him without Salvatores protection

Claude - almost everyone wanted this dude dead

Niko and on I haven't given much thought to. But prison or death is by far the most likely for all of them

Niko did bad things, but for the most part, he seemed like a genuinely good guy that actually wanted to escape his past and lead a normal life after he deals with Darko, that is.
His particular set of skills just kept getting him pulled back into the shit he was trying to escape from. The end of GTAIV pretty much implies that he's giving it all up and leading the quiet life that he's been going through hell for. And it's not like most of the major people that he killed will be missed. They were mainly leaders of failing gangs and mob families and such.

Yeah Packie mentions he hasn't heard from Niko and thinks he's dead. But that's probably because Niko cut his ties with crime and went into hiding.

There's that social media page but that could just be an Easter egg.

Seems like he is still getting referenced in GTA Online now and again but more about his escaped in GTAIV. Hopefully he went to Florida.

If he does make an appearance in VI I just don't want them to do him like they did Johnny. Did that man dirty.
