If we had an ice/rock Pokemon with a good movepool and Weavile stats people would be a lot more inclined to realize that typing has some big advantages to go with its huge problems. I agree with grass/bug, it's just kind of bad all around.

It's hard to imagine a starter being any worse than Chikorita. They practically went out of their way to ensure it faces bad match ups at nearly every turn.

Putin used to come across as an intelligent man whose actions actually made sense. The massive invasion of Ukraine was REALLY strange. It seems like people have been lying to Putin a lot about his military capabilities, victories, and maybe even about what is happening in Ukraine in general? Like, why would Putin think there are Nazi's in the region?

If the leader punishes everyone that tells him things he doesn't want to hear, he quickly ends up hearing an overly optimistic report on everything in his country. Brutal dictatorships often have serious problems because no one who knows the truth or has a good idea for improving things can speak up out of fear they might be exiled or executed for it.

Lance is just so fucking awful as a champion. Half his team is the same Pokemon repeated, and he literally does not use a single Pokemon from the new generation. And that's already a flaw of the 2nd gen games, how poorly represented the new Pokemon are, so he just compounds it by having the champion be the same old shit, taken to the next level by how much "same old shit" already describes his team even in a vacuum due to his triple Dragonite junk. He has minimal character, pretty minimal role in the games for a guy that gets two of them, and a repetitive team that doesn't feature anything new and interesting.

I can't really think of that many games where grinding is even particularly worthwhile for anything mandatory. Basically only a few points in some of the Ys games where they balanced the level curve poorly in a game where one level has comically huge effects.

This is the totally wrong time for it. The whole title unification match thing is AEW's entire storyline for the past three months, they've basically not even had a main event scene beyond Mox beating random people who don't matter because they think this eventual match is so big on its own. You only get one time to do it and having it be a shenanigan match sucks unless it's something waaaaayyyy more dramatic than "and then the hurt guy turned out to be hurt enough that he shouldn't have been in the ring and loses free and it was stupid to have ever been interested". They did something unexpected yes, but the only story it tells is that Punk and the AEW doctors are morons.

You need it to unlock augmenting on the endgame monster armors. Archfiend set, Valstrax set, the new update monsters, I assume Furious and Scorned as well all need it.

I'm guessing the reception to season 8 of Game of Thrones derailed things a bit for him because he's probably seeing that people absolutely despised some things he fully intended to write and now he's kind of scrambling to figure out if he should stay the course completely, make some small changes to try to make the same basic ideas be received better, or change his plans entirely.

They do a lot of stuff to help you, but they do next to no damage. Their attacks count for breaking parts but barely count towards killing the monster, they have Palico tier damage or maybe even worse. Definitely nothing compared to how much damage dogs can dish out.

The difference is that Russia invading Ukraine is perfectly feasible since they share a huge border, China is much less likely to believe they have a realistic chance of victory since invading over sea and air is a lot harder than over land. The bigger concern is that every time they do this kind of shit there's the chance of something going wrong, some sort of miscommunication or misunderstanding leading to shots being fired and things escalating from there before anyone can cool it down.

Decent game but it has some weird stuff with character recruitment IIRC that doesn't make a lot of sense if you don't already know in advance how to get who you want. Maybe I'm just biased though since SO2 has some stuff like that when you think about it but I'm just familiar enough with it to not have it register as weird anymore
