I think you've misunderstood the distinction between a Sakamichi/AKB group type idol with porn stars.

Just because they're called AV idols doesn't mean anything. Its just the name thats the same. You can have an adult oriented group that are pornstars, but they will never be compared to the same length as actual Jpop idols.

It's this weird blind spot in what I find is usually said by otherwise kind and logical people, including some of my friends who are so in tune with what are usually toxic personality traits and social behaviours but still see short guys as safe punching bags.

A part of me is just hoping the "short men should not have rights" thing was just a horrible translation for a different phrase that doesn't sound harsh or something. I say this as a guy who speaks Vietnamese as a first language. There are phrases in Vietnamese that would translate horribly through Google translate.

I checked her twitter out and it seems she did indeed say that. Theres a lot of shit being said on there now in response.

Hopefully it doesnt affect her mental health.

I'm kinda convinced this tekken player is at least partly serious. idk why else she would make this kind of joke. i could understand if she was still a teenager and liked saying controversial things to get an adrenaline rush from the backlash (I used to do that kind of stuff online) but she is almost 30 years old.

Based on the article she pretty much detailed a lot of it too and went on for a while. If it was a joke it would have been a general jab or something I'd assume.

No the American court case is different. The UK court case was about libel in the paper which he was unable to sufficiently prove.

The American court case isn't about libel it's a straight up DV case. The truth of the matter will be determined there for everyone to see assuming it's not settled out of court.
