So there's a mode called Battle Boost that makes the game even easier.

they had that to all SE reboots
ff8 9 7 remasters all had it and so does ffx on steam
it doesnt just make the game easier it makes you unkillable
in ff8 that means any damage you receive is instantly healed
in chrono cross all attacks miss you

You have to fight the second boss as Billy.

and there is one you have to fight as rebecca but for the most part you can decide who you want to take the boss on with

i love rebecca and billy
i like that you can fight the bosses with either character but the game really wants you to fight them with billy

billy can take a beating and still keep coming
rebecca's health goes down to red if a gentle summer breeze hits her
i still mainly fought everything as rebecca

I wanted the chrono cross remaster and live a live remake so while pre-ordering chrono cross I noticed some games said i already purchased them

no you dont go into world 2 3 or 4
otherwise you will need 3 to get to world 8
you use 1 whistle to take you to the menu that lets you pick which world you go to
and instead of choosing a world you use the second whistle in this menu. it will warp you straight to world 8 skipping over worlds 5 6 and 7 all together
but if you enter worlds 2 3 or 4 then you cant do the trick

Yeah, saving games back then was a rarirty. Usually only Adventure games and RPGs had that functionality.

Though usually there were passwords, cheat codes, and shortcuts. If you know what you're doing you can get 3 flutes and skip right to World 8.

You get 2 flutes to get to world 8
Both found in world 1
Use one to go to the pick the world screen and then use the second in that screen to jump to world 8
3 flutes are not needed though there are 3 in the game
The other one is found behind a rock in world 2 and you need to beat a fire hammer brother to get it

BSB had larger than life and backstreets back and i want it that way
also only 2 membes of nsync actually got to sing
the other 3 members just sang the harmonies

Claymore is really good for awhile
It gets worse as It goes on but at least it didn't have a filler ending like the anime
