I thought it was very well done. Good presentation and hosting, went pretty smoothly from here.

Regarding the song selections, I think you did a pretty solid job, especially considering you picked a very large number of songs for a single episode. Across all the categories there was 71 clips, which is a lot! I actually think you could get away with scaling it down a little bit, especially if it meant more or more frequent episodes in return.

I loved the fact you gave the last place person a chance at a comeback with the category selection and priority buzzer in the later round. Keep that if you can. On the other hand, I wasn't sold on the final round. I felt it was too hard, and felt a bit unfair to the music as well. Overall difficulty was fine otherwise.

I do think there is still some room to diversify with regards to the game choice and song choice:

• It was pretty heavy on Nintendo+Square specifically and certain franchises kept showing up. That advantages anyone familiar with those specific ones. Granted, I'm not sure how much the playlist was tailored to the guests - I know if I was in your position, I would definitely consider biasing the list toward things I thought my guests would know - so maybe that's a factor here, and that's valid.
• In terms of the music itself, there was a lot of rock(-ish) songs, battle themes and upbeat adventure themes. Sensible, because those songs tend to be the recognizable and popular ones, but I definitely think maybe you could squeeze in a couple more songs of a different sort. But I do understand it's a challenge to achieve a varied sound while keeping the quiz accessible, and yeah, accessibility is the most important thing.

There's a sub-community here which is big into VGM. We hold a yearly "best vgm" tournament, users regularly create "ranking threads" where people nominate music for them to listen to, and we regularly play in vgm trivia games on discord (we had our 345th trivia game yesterday). That's why @Isquen scored quite well, since we're part of that group along with some other names in this thread.
