All that means is the driver has another way out. Pedantry aside, Semi-trailers DO have hatches I believe. It's a weird combo of a nuclear sub, taking note that when I say "nuclear sub" I mean "armed with a nuclear weapon", and a spy sub. Which, makes very little sense. If Poseidon works though, it's a scary thing since it could in theory launch from just about anywhere in the world and hit a target on the coast.
