I had chickens growing up and chickens are neat but they really are sorta... they're basically just there. Chickens are noted for having very tiny brains physically speaking and tbh they way they are I think they're not using most of that brain.

Roosters I dunno. They're kinda the same but also very strong willed in a "I will kill everything that comes near me" sort of way. Roosters are practically fast zombies.

He was once completely white with just the slightest markings on his face and front legs.

Always surprises me how long Walter is. I know cats are deceptively long (since the vast majority of their poses involve coiling/compacting), but Savannahs be big yo.

Even people who seem him irl never realize how big he actually is. He walks with half his legs compressed even. Its only if he gets to playing or they pick him up that they're like "damn this is a big cat."

Ive known a lot of cats who refuse to eat or drink from stainless steel bowls. I don't know if that's normal but Walter hates any bowl thats remotely reflective or shiny.

Haha Walter continues to show anything and everything who is boss! Sadly Obelix doesn't chase as much now.. it takes a while and then gets bored of it.

He really loves this new toy. I always used to get him stuff on strings on a stick or just fetch type toys but this thing is his favorite easily.

The last toy I bought him a few weeks earlier he didnt play with at all really... and then she spent hours playing with an empty vodka sample bottle. Lol.

Geez they're bad influences on each other.

If I buy a new bag of cat food and don't put it away right away he will ignore his food and start trying to rip the bag open.

Not instantly but if i leave it out and have a shower or something he'll definitely start trying to get into it.

My cat HATES the snow. But at least I got to take my daughters sledding today. They tried bringing Simba and that was a definite "no". That would be kitty torture.

Mine likes it only in very small doses.

I definitely wouldn't bring him sledding. Lol. Even just going for walks he'll beg to go out and then wanna go home inside of 3 minutes.

My building was evacuated last night about 1am for what they thought was a fire. Woke up to alarms and then pounding on my door and spent an hour in the parking lot with Walter and all my neighbours (literally none of whom brought their pets out and I know for a fact 2 other people have cats and one has like a dozen guinea pigs and hamsters) and fuck was Walter flipping out from the cold, the alarms, the fire truck, the people. I had to stash him in my car just cause he was freaking out so much.

It ended up being a burst pipe but they wouldn't let us go in till they found the problem and I feel like it took an absurdly long time given that its not a large building and there was no smoke or smell of smoke or any flames or anything.

I think I've posted this here before but this was quite a while ago when he was only learning cupboards and was just smacking the hell out of it for a while.

He eventually got good enough that I keep his food in a closet now. He wasn't really good at it, but the odd night I'd wake up to some bang and Walter would be in the cupboard where his food is shoving shit onto the floor from 6 feet up. There must been a few times my downstairs neighbours were like wtf is going on up there at 3am?

And he always has food in his bowl so I don't get what the deal was.

His food stays in a closet now. He learned bi fold doors but he pinched his paw in one opening it one time and he hasn't messed with them since.

So yes I'm sorry. Walter is a bad influence. They're clearly exchanging knowledge. Lol.

Mine has no concept of things like that. A small book that's only half on the desk will 100% support his weight in his mind. Or a file folder. Pretty much everything that is anywhere can support his weight and he has not learned any better and doesn't want to.
