a few people in here are attributing a country's well-being exclusively to its own internal policies. this is a huge error, so I'm going to elaborate a little bit on what I said in post 88:

"[capitalism] necessitates the existence of an exploited underclass to do the actual work"

this applies at the global scale just as much as the national scale. it's true that the countries that are currently wealthy are, by and large, capitalist; but it's not directly because they're capitalist that they became wealthy. they stole that wealth, in one form or another, from the countries that are currently poor. in other words, they have managed, to some extent, to outsource that exploited underclass to another country

There's no system immune to corruption. You just need as many checks and balances as possible to avoid shit like this. Things need to change over the coming years and decades, but this is probably realistically one of the best systems we could have had when factoring in how we realistically act.
checks and balances are temporary. the system itself eventually wins over. it actively encourages exploitative behaviour.

and "factoring in how we realistically act" is not super helpful, given that "how we realistically act" is determined primarily by our environment, and that capitalist incentivization of exploitative behaviour shapes many aspects of our environment

Google says there are 150k Inuits in the world. Out of that 150k, about 70k live in Greenland and Denmark. Of the 80k that remain, we'll say they're perfectly split on gender. So you have 40k Inuit women who mostly live in the upper portions of Canada. Of that 40k, you need to find one that made their way down to Los Angeles, wants to be an actress, is good enough to do the job, and is interested in voicing a cartoon character.

It's almost certainly not possible.
they also have the option of contacting someone directly and getting them to temporarily relocate to LA. actors do that kind of thing

Reading authors intent is an interesting thing. While its true that without knowing them personally, it can be tough, you can kind of tell what theyre going for based on your knowledge of stories in general, and how the author seems to be implementing them. So while it does leave room for you to misread them, you can be pretty accurate.

Because I'm talking about people who try to twist the content of the work to fit their own stupid narrative while ignoring that the writers obviously intended the plainer explanation. If a character kicks a dog, it's writing shorthand that this character is an asshole. But people will try to argue that no, it's perfectly plausible that this character dislikes dogs because when he was a child, his little sister was mauled to death by dachshunds, when anyone with any sense in their head will know that the writers are in no way implying that.
the issue still has nothing to with the writers' intent though. it's very possible for an interpretation of a work to be incorrect, independently of the writer's intent

writers can lie. they can also fail to achieve what they intended.

then you gave a bad example to support your point, because it's supported directly by the content of the work without considering intent.

writers can fail to achieve what they intended, and they can put things in unintentionally. you can't actually know if a given implication is intended or not unless you personally wrote it

I don't disagree with that. It's a weird example because it's a song, but Running Up That Hill is about a woman wishing she could swap genders with her boyfriend. Stranger Things takes those exact same lyrics and instead turns it into a song about survivor's guilt. That sort of thing is fine.

My issue is when you go for the absolute, most roundabout bullshit interpretation of the events when any common sense would tell you that the writers obviously didn't intend that. To go back to Stranger Things, Will being gay is blatantly obvious, but people will bend over backwards to argue that it's not the case. They'll disregards things like him doing a school project on a famously gay historical figure which the writers would not have included if it weren't intended to imply that plot point.
that implication is there whether or not it was intended by the writers though

Ive done everyone on most of the maps now, but now I need to take it to the next level.

1 - Which Knowledge point gives me the spike at the end? I have the Free Glue and Dart already
it's called "Pre-Game Prep" in the "Powers" section

2 - Which Towers are best for each Map type? For example a Magic Monkey and the Helicopters are good for maps with lots of cover.
that's... rather subjective to some extent. there are usually specific places on maps that are better for placing certain towers, rather than specific map types.

for example, the bottom path tack shooter (and really, the tack shooter in general) does really well in spots where it will hit the track in every direction. like the small square where you can place towers on "Resort"

the top path Dart Monkey is really strong on maps with a lot of obstacles (like Hedge and Cornfield) because the spiked balls will bounce off the obstacles, potentially hitting more bloons

Heli (really any path) is great for maps with multiple paths for the bloons (as long as the paths are not in use simultaneously) like Bloonarius Prime and High Finance

3 - Whats the general strat for Half-Cash? This is my hardest challenge
I often use my insta monkeys there
