i feel like suikoden 1 and 2 never came out in europe but i may be wrong, i definitely never played it despite the hype. i did play some suikoden v and really dug the concept of recruiting 108 allies that all have various roles and mechanics.

They were, but we never got the third game, released on the PS2. Shame since it had save transfer from the PS1 games.

I got it on PC, Switch and XBOne. Good game. Still got a bundle key.

I highly recommend Legaia myself, hope you enjoy it.

Perhaps C-12: Final Resistance, it was a decent third person shooter from the MediEvil guys.

Also, since I got a new PC recently, I've been plaing a few games, one of them being Neptunia Virtual Stars. Not too far in that yet though.

Never liked those things to be honest. Got a few the brats didn't want (B1G1F deals that needed the extra) but don't go out of my way to get them. Gave away one a few months ago, Rey from Star Wars. Still got Cyberpunk default male, a random Nord and the main character from Zombieland.

Eh, some do care about sound, so I can get the question being serious from some anyway. I'm never going to have better than stereo speakers on my PCs though.

It isn't too difficult, and I have one Steam key for it, IF you promise to play it and attempt to finish at least one run. So you will get it at the best price of free, at least.

Build in whatever. I don't think I'd had a PC with an actual soundcard since Windows 98, used to have a SoundBlaster16 card IIRC.

Finally got to replace my old PC hardware. With some less old but still not brand new stuff. Oh well, vast improvement anyway.

16GB DDR4 RAM (up from 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM)
Radeon RX 570 8GB (up from Radeon R9 270, 2GB)
256GB SSD, 2TB HDD (up from 1TB HDD)

Also came with a massive monitor, but it was only 1920 * 1200, I'll stick with my 1290 * 1080 that doesn't make up so much space.

Now I just need to transfer everything from my old PC. Got a lot of passwords and files to copy over.

Gauntlet 4 I played some of. Doesn't it literally go on forever until you die? IIRC that's the way it is for all of the 8 and 16 bit Gauntlets outside of the OG NES game.

Arcade is, Quest is 5 dungeons of 10 floors each.

Really put off by the visuals of the PS1 game.

It was remade for Wii, and next month in a compilation with the second game on Switch. There are also some GBA games worth a look.

Going to suggest some Mega Drive games I used to enjoy
Alisia Dragoon - Amazing action platformer, was really happy it was on the Mega Drive Mini
Ex-Mutants - Beaten this several times, not the best game but I still had fun
Gauntlet IV - The series isn't really that obscure, but this was a really good one with a quality Arcade mode and a Quest mode that is a sort of RPG
Global Gladiators - McDonalds platformer which was surprisingly good
Hellfire - Amazing shoot em up, my favourite for the system
Mega Turrican - If you haven't played anything in this series before, I recommend giving it a look, the first two games were also on the system as Turrican and Universal Soldier (which is an edited Turrican 2) and SNES got a game as well
Ranger X - Great action game which I wish was better known, I've never actually found more than a couple of people who played it
Radical Rex - Was also on the SNES, I have that version on Steam, but Mega Drive was the one I played
Red Zone - Like the Strike series but more technically impressive

And while not a short game depending how you are with the puzzles, look up Puggsy as well.
