Oh also, in addition to DRG and AST, PLD is also now planned to get a rework.

Lotta weird shit in the patch. PLD and WAR were buffed and that was it.... kind of. p8s was nerfed, the reason given was "our testers are too good and it was tuned for their skill level" A third party tool was used to create "illegitimate" waymarks in p7s. The player that made the waymark had action taken on their account, but the waymarks were spread around and shared so people are still allowed to use them, and the arena is being altered to make the waymarks legitimate. Dragoon is getting a buff on Dragon Sight, but it's being called a bug fix. Tons of bug fixes on the island sanctuary. I'm curious if p7s might have been shadow nerfed. The dps check on that fight was absolutely ridiculous. And even though I pulled about 1000 dps higher than I did in the previous fight, which is a fucking TON, I parsed grey. x_x

So I was actually invited to play on a server so I've been doing that when I haven't been raiding in FF so that's why I haven't been updating

So had like 10 2% enrage wipes on p7s last night. Shit is hard. Especially on our healers who need to move a lot and also heal through an insane amount of damage. We'll hopefully get it today.

Look up Wattles on youtube. Sometimes his videos are a bit long, but he's really good at showing you how things in Minecraft work or how to do certain things.

There is a mod, can't remember what it's called. Like waystones or waymarks or something like that. Adds fast travel locations that you can find in the overworld or build yourself.

Oh yeah if you want to fast travel between bases, you'll either need to fly, or build a network in the Nether

Idk, I like the rework. The new biomes are varied. And there's more dungeon variety. And Ancient Debris! Although personally I think it's weird that you can get a material stronger than diamond before you kill the dragon. Hopefully in The End update there's something stronger, or like an alternative. Like you can upgrade diamond gear with netherite, or enderite or whatever they decide to call it. Or maybe there just won't be ores in The End. We'll find out whenever they decide to update it.

And yeah, if you don't know what the Nether is. It's hell. Fire and oceans of lava and red stone everywhere. And pigmen. And zombie pigmen. And giant floating jellyfish that shoot exploding orbs at you and make horrifying crying sounds.

You can build your own teleporters in this game right?

You can build portals into and out of the Nether. The Nether is its own dimension but it's also a fast travel mechanic. 1 block traveled in the Nether is roughly 7-8 blocks traveled in the Overworld.

There's also the End. You can't build portals to the End, you have to find already constructed portals and put Eyes of Ender inside the portal to open it. Then when you leave the End you just get placed on the last bed you slept in or at your spawn location if it can't put you on your bed for whatever reason.

There's also probably a fourth dimension being added soon. But they need to update the End first before they do that.

If I had to guess what the future update plan is, I'd say:
1.20 is going to be a small update that adds one or two cool new things to play with. Maybe an old biome gets something new like birch forests. But it's mostly going to be a systems overhaul update. Inventory rework, maybe some optimization, new UI stuff.

1.21 is going to be a BIG update. The End update. New biomes. New structures. New blocks. New mobs. New ores. They're going to do to The End what they did to the Nether in 2020. It's going to become a place you actually want to go to and explore.

1.22 will be an Overworld biome overhaul. Older biomes that are in desperate need of some kind of rework will get all new things. Biomes like deserts, badlands, savannas, forests, etc. will get reworked generation or new mobs/blocks/structures/items.

1.23 will be the Fourth Dimension update. The statues/portals in the Ancient Cities will finally be openable. What we'll find on the other side, who knows. Personally what I think the portals are are timegates. I think the Fourth Dimension will take us to pockets of the past. We'll see what the Ancient Cities looked like in the past, and there will be powerful mobs/a new boss inside the portals. I'm probably way off base though lol

But all of this is a ways off. 1.20 hasn't even been announced yet. Minecraft Live is in about a month. I think at that event 1.20 and 1.21 will both be announced. 1.20 *might* come at the end of the year. If not, it will be early next year.
