I don't know if I'd call them power ups. It seemed that at the end of each arc, he lost all his power. Then they had to come up with a new way for him to be relevent again. But for all his specialness, Aizen was on a whole other level. How can you top it when the villain breaks the hero's theme song? I mean, the song comes on and you know it's ass kicking time. And yet he was stronger than the fourth wall.

A comment I saw summed up everything about the incel mindset. Something about this guy lowering his standards and having sex with an ugly girl.

That is the iffy part. If the person he bought them from obtained them illegally, it changes things. I've seen mention that this guy has an inside person he has purchased unreleased items from in the past. Not absolving WotC from anything. Sounds like they should have used legal proceedings to get the video removed and the item back. That is what lawyers are for.

I have a pack in my car that I bought at the start and never brought it in the house. Would have used that up a long time ago. On the other hand, getting a bidet sees me changing a roll maybe once a month now. Just 5 or 6 squares to dry my crack when I'm done.

So, that is a partial win I guess. Hunter Biden was all about looking at his junk. Passing transgender bills is about looking at other people's junk. Hooray?

Thank you for not listing Enterprise as an option. That just felt like an f' you to the fans of the series.

Sad news but I can't say I'm surprised or that I still use the dvd service. Think my parents signed up for it in 2000 or 2001. Their dvd catalog is MASSIVE. It used to be so fun searching their site for random dvds that I had no idea existed and adding them to our queue. Things like live concert dvds from bands I loved, old tv shows, or odd ball movie sequels.

If you aren't familiar with it, check out Tubi. I've been watching a lot of old dcumentaries on music lately. They're also a great place to find all the terrible horror movies I always saw in old video stores.

This, and it was on sale for like $22. I dont hold little grudges though. I haven't played it much, but seemed fine from what I did.

I got in on PS4 maybe a year ago because it was being clearanced out for less than $10. Not real far into it, but it works fine for me too.

Another option is to have faith at 12. Think most classes can get it there from default with the right gear. Equip the flame cleanse me incantation and use that. Don't forget if you just want to traverse the area, use a weapon with quickstep to move through it quickly.

Two quick things to check. Do you have 40 vigor, minimum. You'll want to aim for 50-60. Are you using a soreseal/scarseal. The defense debuff isn't worth the gains at higher levels.

And for strength/melee, raptor's talon talisman and jump attack are your friend. You can stagger a lot of enemies that way.

From things I've seen, teacher burn-out can boil down to 2 big things. First is today's Karens are the parents of your kids. So right or wrong, you get stuck defending yourself against the parent and administration for any perceived slight. Second, today's kids can be more media savvy. Which can include learning they can threaten the teacher to get what they want. Like getting in trouble, being asked to stay after class to have a word with them only to have them threaten to say you sexually assaulted them if they receive any punishment.

I personally enjoyed Neil Gaiman's version in the Sandman comic. First was Lilith, but Adam complained to god because she liked to be on top when they fucked. So she was kicked out. Then god made another, but Adam watched and got grossed out because he saw her creation, starting from bone, then muscle, then skin being added. OK, I can get being creeped out there. Eve was attempt number 3.

Quick question. If god created man in his image, then is the male or female form the correct one? Unless it changes over time, in which case, being transgender would be the only correct interpretation.

Constantly double-checking if it was still proper to go by the pronouns he/he.

Yeah. It's almost predictable how these young kids will react. If it somehow comes up and a 5 year old asks what gay means, it's simple. Some boys love girls, some boys love boys. Kid will have a look on their face that you just know is them processing this information for about 5 seconds. Quickly followed by an OK and then they go right back to whatever they were doing when they asked.

I'd probably throw in a line about how great it is when she can look at each person when talking out both sides of her mouth.

If you want to count it, worked a few years in a grocery store deli. Hated how I was always referred to as "the boy" by the owners even though I was in my early 20's.

Spent a few years in target. Got a promotion to signing supervisor without applying to it. Loved the freedom I was given to come in, do my work, and leave without anybody looking over my shoulder. Left to go to school.

Came back after to school to a different target, and that one sucked. Nobody knew what they were doing and nothing was getting done. It got to the point where team leads were asking me how to use LRTs and I flat out told them I had applied for their position and didn't get it, so I felt no obligation to share my knowledge and train my superiors. Lasted less than a year there.

Then spent around 17 years in a movie theatre. Overall I enjoyed it, but the pay sucked. Especially when the company got bought by another change and I lost like $2.00/hr. Last day coincided with when the new pay rate would take effect.

Finally, worked at meijer for about the last 3 years, so had about a year under my belt before Covid hit. Lost employees and never built staff back up. I was an overnight stocker and was really feeling shit upon by the end. Used to be 3 of us that did sale tags on Saturday night in part of grocery. (aisles 11-16) Over time, it was just me doing aisles 3-18. Other nights of the week, I was supposed to do the hardhome section. Unless they told me to go do pets, or frozen, or dairy, or seasonal, or toys, or health &beauty, or straighten shelves in grocery. Then get bitched at by my manager for the hardhome section not getting done.

Not that I was surprised. I'll always remember that he compared working 10 pallets of home solutions when I couldn't get 6 pallets of hardhome done in a single night. For context, home solutions is plastic storage bins with maybe 10 boxes per pallet, max. And they just got shoved on the shelf wherever there was an open space. Hardhome was stuff like pots and pans, kitchen utensils, plates and bowls, water bottles, cleaning supplies, bakeware, coffee makers, blenders, and vaccuum cleaners. Almost all of that stuff either required me to open a box inside of another box or unwrap the plastic bags and bubble wrap they were shipped in. Or else needed a security strap put on it. (other departments got to set theirs aside for day shift to secure. I had to do them myself). Hardhome also averaged about 40-50 boxes per pallet. Only time in close to 30 years of working that I had finally enough and just straight quit when being given yet another thing on my plate when in the middle of getting set up for the night. That made me like the 3rd employee to just straight walk out in the span of a month. Obviously, this is not a job I have fond memories of.

I did get a real kick out of Mark Strong's character. Giving creepy vibes, one of the characters calling out that he is acting like a villain, then getting blown up in a car.

I hope she starts with the reason she was in prison in the first place.

Based on my time working in a theatre, I came to the conclusion that married indian men are dicks. We showed a lot of Bollywood movies so had a large percentage of indian movie goers on the weekend. So many times I saw what I assume is the husband come in through the front door, letting it close on his wife, then looking back at her annoyed as she was trying to wrangle the kids, a stroller, and a diaper bag to get the door open.

I assume I did. In college, after a party, one of the girls I was kind of kind of acquainted with left upset. Ended up meeting up with her in the dorm lobby later that evening and was talking to her. Felt like out of the blue, she asked my opinion on casual sex. I basically said I think it happens, but it was something that never really crossed my mind. Nineteen year old me was kind of dense, wasn't he.

Yeah, I've heard about similar cases like this before. Seems to end up with the judge saying "You broke the law. Sorry, but I have to sentence you. However, if you pinky swear to never do it again, I'll let you serve out the sentence on probation".

That is why I'm so glad Rosario Dawson is only 5 years younger than me. Always looking good, and the age difference don't hit my personal cut-off for being creepy.

If you had to jump through so many hoops, I imagine it was due to questionable content in what you were buying. I mean, I'm sure you just forget to give us all the name of what you purchased, right?

biggest problem I had was trying to play it like dark souls. Trying to roll out of the way didn't work and I hated the combat.

Of course, during the last segment of the game, I finally figured out how useful slow/pull/push was when fighting groups of stormtroopers. Wish that had clicked with me much sooner.

I still don't know if X8 was actually good, or it just seemed like it because of the trash that was X7. If they made another, I would prefer it be a dedicated character at the start like in X4. Wasn't a huge fan of switching before each level and having to divide the upgrades.
